This is the final update for Madden 17. I love this game and hope you are all enjoying your CFM’s. I look forward to getting out our MLB The Show 17 Sliders the weekend after it’s release on the 28th of March. My focus is now turning to baseball when it comes to sliders and spots gaming. I will continue to play Madden 17 though all the way till Madden 18’s release (assuming August 30th). I look forward to seeing what they can do with the first year on the Frostbite Engine! I think we will get an even better game, and hopefully they really work on Cpu QB AI/awareness and sideline awareness even more, because those are the two area’s to me that need a nice look to get this game to a simulation level of The Show. I will pop in here though to answer some questions as needed....but until then....

On to MLB The Show 17 folks!
Thanks bud, your sliders and help are definitely much appreciated!!!
I'll see you over at The Show!

It makes them play better. And makes Elite QB's play alot better. There is a difference from 20 to 30. And it shows stats wise. But that's what we were trying to do. Make the Cpu more competitive for some of us. I use the Cowboys and I'm ranked about 24th in Passing D. So it's about right.
Maybe try 25 first? But If your getting good results keep it at 20.

I am using 25 right now. It is definitely better than 20. I'm gonna try 30 cause I use the Steelers and their secondary is quite mediocre.

I'm gonna stick with 50 for injuries. I simmed a preseason at 52 and every team has 4-10 people injured. After 4 games.

Sounds about right in todays NFL and really puts a focus on depth, and development of your back ups and practice squad.

Just a personal preference.

Injuries are very fun this year. When your team is the defending SB champs and your stud QB goes down in week 4 with a broken ankle, is out for 48 weeks, and you have to roll with your 69 ovr rookie 4th rd pick for the rest of the season. Man that takes things to another level. Gotta have that depth.

That was year one for me when Carr went down and I had to roll with Connor Cook and Mark Sanchez.

Things did not go well in the post season to say the least.

Right now in Year 4 I have Amari Cooper and Derrick Henry out for over a month. And my depth is shining at WR and RB.

I love injuries this year. Just a couple of clicks to 52 and things can get hairy. Also I have a self imposed house rule that I refuse to upgrade toughness and injury ratings with XP.

If they are injury prone players......so be it.

Did you wind up being able to afford to re-sign Carr, Cooper, and Mack? I'm curious how you managed that, if so.

Also, love the Henry signing. He's a back I covet in my CFMs; I picked him up in my SB-winning 5th season in my SF CFM and he was a great cudgel to beat teams with late in games.
