Played a game tonight with the patch and with the updated sliders. Played really nicely as usual A&S!

Reminder: I am playing with a team of rookies and off-the-street free agents. SEA is rated 88, and my team is rated 75. (Even that is probably overstating my team, because there are still some solid Eagles on my team who I haven't traded due to cap reasons, and I don't play them, so they sit on the bench and raise my OVR.)

Fairly balanced game. You'll notice that I was able to run and so was Seattle, but neither of us were overpowering. I just couldn't do ANYTHING about Wilson in the air though. To be fair, though, he had one 80-yard TD that was super lame. I was chasing him with a DE and hit the wrong damn button and failed to tackle him, haha. He promptly hurled it 35 yards across his body complete in stride for the 80-yard go ahead TD in the 4th lol! So that kind of inflated his numbers a bit.

At one point I was down 11 and scored a TD to bring it within 5. Tried for the two-point conversion to pull within a field goal. Had my FB WIDE WIDE open in the flat, and it clanged off his hands haha! (I'm not bitter - it would have been his first reception of the year. He's a lead blocker haha. Again, kind of what I would expect from a FB with like a 70 catch rating.)

Even at the end, I had a drive within 2 minutes, needed a touchdown to win. Got to the 20, offensive holding pushed me back to the 30. Threw twice in the end zone on 3rd and 4th and Seattle defended them both, game over.

The game was basically exactly what I would expect. I was able to hang tough for a while, but eventually the better team pulled it out. It was an enjoyable game. It was aggravating that I couldn't stop Wilson, but then again, my D sucks, and it wasn't like he was robo-QB. 29 of 42 isn't exactly the godlike accuracy we have seen in the past when Madden goes robo-QB. I also managed four sacks too.

Incidentally, Wilson DID move around in the pocket a bit, but never really scrambled. His one run for 6 yards was a designed run from the pistol.

As always, looking great A&S!

Re: Armor & Swords Madden 17 Custom All-Pro Simulation Style Sliders

Lost my week 3 game vs Houston, 31-17, a blocked punt for a td and a fumble recovery for a td did me in, my offense has been putrid without Brady, and this game my defense just could not do all the lifting this time, this game really exposed my team's offensive inefficiencies, should have been 31-9 but I scored a garbage time TD, up next an early season AFC East showdown for first place vs the Bills, both at 2-1, will definitely be twitching that one.

Re: Armor & Swords Madden 17 Custom All-Pro Simulation Style Sliders

Tested out a few games today after the stream and I really like the run game where its at. Rams vs Giants lost 24-6. My run game was mostly shut down after breaking a stretch play for 73 yards using a stiff arm on the first play. After that their defense was stout. Then I played Bucs vs 49ers winning 28-21 and it was a run fest throughout both teams rushing for over 100 yards and quite a few broken tackles. Game ended with a pic in the endzone.

In regard to field goal accuracy the setting feels right except when its raining I missed a couple in the Giant's game. The CPU only kicked one so hard to judge that one. But it made me think about whether the CPU should have different sliders for accuracy. Something to consider moving forward.

Playing my first game with these right now. Im using Seattle. I'm down 34-10 in the 4th. Miami has 8 sacks and over 200 yards rushing. I have no protection when I'm back to pass and can't run the ball either. I really hope this is because of Seattle's poor oline. On defense though, I get 0 penetration and Ajayi has 157 yards with 7 broken tackles and 88 YAC. Foster had 95 yards on 10 carries with 3 broken tackles and 34 YAC. I'm gonna try using Pittsburgh next.

I assume, per usual, these need to be tested exclusively in CFM correct?
