The pressure was good, the coverage was good. PIT Defense One sack here by my CB Jackson, was the first time Ive ever sacked a guy with a corner or safety blitz. The pick was just a terrible throw by bortles. Overall the game felt pretty good. I lost because I just couldnt move the ball in the 4th QTR, bad reads, bad decisions, dropped balls. It was raining very hard. Im afraid if I go to a higher slider set though, that the CPU running game will be even more dangerous then this. I felt each time he handed off the ball that I had to get at least 3 guys to him. 8 Broken Tackles is excessive in my mind. The human running game was good until I chose an outside run, and just destroyed the defense on it. I try not to get to many outside runs, but they are way, way overpowered in this years game. Interesting Team Stats box score. 405 yards for me, 406 for washington. Passing yards were within 10 of each other, and rushing was within 10 yards of each other. 14 first downs for me, 16 for CPU. Was a very balanced game if you just look at those numbers. EDIT SIDE NOTE Two things happened in this game Ive never seen in this game or any madden. A tipped ball in the air for a pick six by them. And the CPU QB running past the line of scrimmage then throwing the ball. Good stuff.

You should stick with the Green set for now unless it starts getting easy. This was a well balanced game you had.. See how this plays out for a while then adjust accordingly.

Yeah it can get brutal when you play against a stud RB. Especially a shifty one with speed. You really have to commit to stopping the run when you play against a stud RB.. I'm loving the challenge though. It forces you to never make a lazy play call because you might pay for it.. I've never played with all of that assist stuff on but I don't see it having any negative affect on my sliders if you decide to use it..

I fly through seasons. I really love doing the off season stuff and playing with rookies. Just started my 4th season with the Giants.

My GF is at the house more, so I gotta get as much madden in as possible lol

If you dont mind me asking, do you play with ball hawk or any of the assists on?.. And 2nd question, as the season continues and players confidence improves through the season does that affect the way they play? I am having a tough time in,game one but it is game 1 against a very strong team.. Im hoping some of my players play could possibly be due to low confidence at the beginning of the season?

No I play with all of that off. Yeah the player's confidence does affect there play throughout the season. Who do you play week one?

I wasn't able to capture all of the stats for this game, but as you can see it was a shoot out till the end. In this game I found out how much of a mismatch and how good Sterling Shepard is in the slot. I was able to break of some long runs on the outside and counters. On the black set, the defense stacks the box pretty well.
