You are not the only one. A lot of people feel like that. I create my sliders to have an any given sunday feel. Low rated teams upset good teams every week. If it happens on Madden a lot of guys throw fits. My sliders put a lot of responsibility on the USER. If you aren't making the right playcalling and adjustments, you should struggle like teams do in real life.

So far that's what I think I'm going to change. I was thinking about changing the USER and CPUs pass coverage and Reaction also for the Green, red, and Blue set. I been going back and forth with it.

Played a game of Vikings (me) vs. the Packers (cpu).

My defense couldn't stop them. I couldn't get through to their RB's (largely in part bc LB's are absolutely braindead in this game) and I couldn't get enough of a pass rush to affect Rodgers. Offensively, I couldn't get much seperation with my WR's and they were shedding my run blocks like crazy.

So just out of curiousity, I switched to me controlling Green Bay vs. the cpu as Minnesota. And wouldn't you know it, the cpu was acting exactly the same as before. Absolutely dominant on the ground and pass blocking was a stone wall.

Now this has nothing to do with play calling or anything like that. I had the same player on player matchups. But the CPU always held the upper hand. They covered better, pursued the ball better, held their blocks longer, and shed blocks quicker.

So it seems to me that these sliders simply make your players worse and the CPU's better..?

Yeah on All-Madden the CPU has a slight upper hand but the USER makes up for it because he's smarter then the AI so it balances out.

Nope if just forces me to scheme and pay attention to the match ups. I'm not always giving up the big play and the CPU isn't always giving it up to me.
