I feel your pain, my secondary boggles my mind. I have Jason Verrett, Amerson, and Ronald Darby yet my pass defense is ranked 29th overall. I lead the league in sacks so it isn't like I can't get pressure. My DBs just let guys run wide open consistently.
Are you playing 15 min quarters? It could be that the CPU games are not simmed at 15 mins. So your giving up more yards in game with 15min, while CPU is simmed at say 10 minutes, giving up less yards.
That's been my simplistic view point. Could be wrong
Well Jarodd, as we talked about on the stream I'm done with All Madden. Nothing about the difficulty feels realistic at all, ratings dont matter, players dont react even remotely realistically, had enough of the boosts the CPU gets etc. Since the patch this game has become horrible, I mean absolutely terrible and its unfortunate as I really was enjoying the games I was getting. I was winning but I was also rated much higher, had good close games a lot but nothing felt overly cheap. Since the patch its been the exact opposite. Man defense is worthless as ever, zone is picked apart with ease, defenders dont react well at all to anything, guys with 88 truck are bull dozing guys with 90 tackle like they are Deion Sanders, the offensive line has more suction cup blocking then I can ever remember, no push along the line, I mean I could go on for days. I just finished the game against Seattle, keep in mind my defense is a 97 and theirs is a 93 so when you see the stats it should be the very epitome of whats wrong with this game. Neither defense showed up, offense was completely unstoppable and for someone who loves a defensive battle this game was the polar opposite. The problem is this is far closer to the norm then what I want to see and nothing I do will give me the results I want, especially on All Madden. Why am I paying Ronald Darby and Lascelle Talbott, who are both rated well, to just get shredded constantly no matter what I do?
Please for the love of all things that are holy tell me how those guys are getting roasted by mid level 80's receivers?!?!?!?!? It isnt one game, not some anomaly, they are getting torched damn near every game. The only games they arent is if I get instant pressure or the CPU runs the ball a lot otherwise its open season on my corners. Im not getting beat deep, hell I rarely get beat deep in man if ever so they hold their own but they cant stop anything that has a break, posts, curls, outs, ins, slants or pretty much every damn route except the go route. I might as well throw scrubs out there who can tackle since thats all my corners need anyways as coverage ratings dont mean squat.
If this game was anywhere near realistic I should be able to leave my top corners on islands and cheat down on the TE and slot receiver (since the CPU is hell bent on being in 3 wide all the time) but I cant do that. I cant spotlight anyone as it doesnt work anyways so I either have to control a guy and manually shadow the guy and watch them throw to the slot guy or TE, whichever one I dont shadow. To top it off if I do that I get zero pressure. The game just doesnt play even remotely realistic anymore. Anyways, off my soap box, here are the stats...

A whopping 74 with 89-75-69 accuracy ratings lol, he never misses a pass thanks to them eliminating errant passes in the patch. His receivers are solid at least, 92-85-83 and a 99 rated TE but still he shouldnt be completing passes like this either.

They didnt eliminate errant pass's, just there so rare with ANY QB.
Ive been trying to use Flazko's all pro sliders, I had Player QBA at 5. There was maybe two errant pass's a game with Jared Goff. Does his arm have great stats? Yeah sure, but pin point accurate every throw?
And not to mention Ive set my defensive sliders into the dirt, and the CPU STILL CANT DO A DAMN THING on All Pro.
Switch over to all madden and I have Darius Slay and Stephon Gilmore, those guys get torched for 120 yards per game, per dude. Two 100 yard recievers EVERY game. Its like WHAT? Why did I use my first two fantasy draft picks on those guys, when I could have used them on 66 overall Jalen Mills and Redmond to have them play exactly the same.
