Updated the op with current Alternate set. Changed all blocking to 21. Penalty sliders were adjusted slightly. QB acc is being adjusted some. I'm trying to see if I can tweak the game to see certain throw animations, here. I've been seeing something I don't like, lately. And, that is, my QB seems to always throw to where only the defender can catch the ball. I've seen this in prior maddens, and I'm sure there's something in their AI logic that says, 'if many defenders present, ball must be intercepted.' While, this makes some sense, the actual trajectory of the ball just drives me nuts. And, specifically, if I throw to Julio across the middle in FRONT of 2 defenders, I expect the ball to be thrown to JULIO, and NOT the defender. If they knock the ball loose, Ok. If they manage to step in front and make a great INT, ok. But, when I have a clean pocket, and I throw to Julio 20 yards downfield, I expect the ball to at least touch julio's hands, first. So, what I'm trying is to lower CPU INT and see if that's the magic item. Because, I don't want to raise hum QB acc and WR catch or something like that. So, anyways, that's what I'm playing with right now. I've had 3 games with roughly this setup (give or take a slider point here or there). I've had good 'feeling' games with proper yardage. I've seen mostly good D with 1 nice 60 yard run from Freeman where I read the hole perfectly and took off. I won those 3 games somewhat easily, however, but played 3 subpar QBs due to injuries to starters or playing rookies. So, I'm still looking for a good team to play in my CFM to see how that plays out. My CFM D is actually better now, as well, with some draft picks made, so it's sometimes hard to factor those things in. I expect my d to play better now making my team better. So, I often look mostly for animations. Do they make sense? Which ones are getting triggered when? And, the Matty ice throw the ball to defender issue. And, yes, he had an INT year last year irl, but his ratings are still quite high, and the animations where he is quite literally throwing to where only the defender can make a play just look unrealistic, imo. So, that's what I'm looking at. Later.

Yeah, I really liked what I saw in last game. Played the redskins who beat me in playoffs 2 seasons ago. I saw cousins throw some good balls and some balls in the dirt which was nice. Overall, I won 31-30. They got a safety on me. That makes 3 times I've been safety'd this season!!! It feels impossible to run out of the end zone. But, whatever. I still won. AND, the CPU INT to 46 really did the trick for me. The ball was def thrown more to Julio. But, this time, instead of bs Ints, there were some nice dive and swat attempts that felt more realistic to me. Only negative from this particular game, cousins fumbled 6 times!!! Lol. I recovered 4 including a 90+ yard return for TD. Lol. But, they were realistic enough. I haven't seen major fumbling lately, so hoping it was a fluke game. It's only 1 game, but, I noticed an instant improvement in my QB throws.

Lol. Just had to share this as I took a 'bad beat' from madden himself. Still tweaking a few things. I like the way the game is playing overall, but as I said earlier, I want to see a little different throwing from Matt Ryan. I don't need more completions, I just want less ridiculous Ints. Good Ints are always welcome. But, when it's just an absolutely ridiculous throw (or 3-5 of them per game), something needed to be tweaked. Anyways, looks like the INT slider really does tweak that nicely. Dropped it to 46 for both hum and CPU. And, this really throws the ball in the right spots. But, overall just wanted to mention this madden cheat game I just played. Lol. So, I'm 5-0, and admittedly, my d is playing fantastic. I'm always worried 'are my sliders working? Is it too easy? What do I need to change?', etc. But, I've also finally got a full quality squad as well. A couple rookies are playing really well (1 of them is a heisman winning LOLB!!! Yes, LOLB won the heisman in my CFM. Lol). Anyways, I'm playing this division game against the saints. They have a rookie QB who I thrashed in game 1 of this season. The game is a mostly ho hum affair for 3 qtrs. I'm up 20-0. And, again, I'm worried about my sliders at this point. The QB been throwing out of bounds a bit much. I only got 2 sacks on him, though. And, I still struggle some to run the ball and my RG gets beat somewhat frequently on passing downs causing Ryan nightmares. So, they score a FG in the 3rd to make it 20-3 going into the 4th. I figure I got this locked up. Nope. Lol. I don't think I completely took my foot off the gas, either. Just, nothing worked. Couldn't move the ball much. But, the saints on the other hand? Yeah, they just did whatever they wanted. The QB who was throwing everything out of bounds suddenly decided to target his WRs instead. Lol. It seemed realistic enough, but it's always a hard pill to swallow when the CPU does u dirty. Lol. I get the ball with less than 2 min up 20-17. I can't get a first down!!!! They had all 3 TOs. So, they have 1:30 to get a FG or TD. They just drive and drive. I make some good plays. They make a big reception. Ultimately, they scored a TD with 30s left. So, they're up 24-20. I get a good kick return. But, I'm screwing around with auto subs, so of course, Julio misses a play or 2 in this last drive. Lol. But, I tried to go to him at least twice. No dice. So, I go to 5-1 blowing a 20 point lead to my hated rivals, the Aints. It's so tough. I always say 'madden's cheating'. Lol. But, we want to lose some games, right? And, legit, that can and has happened in the NFL. So, anyways, still tweaking a few things.
