As I did last year, I'm beginning to work on a set of sliders for coach mode players. In order to test, I'm running a 32 team franchise and playing as the home team in each regular season game.
Over the next few weeks, I will post boxscores of my test results and will stream as many games as possible on twitch.
The first few games are being played with default sliders (including all user, cpu, penalty and auto-sub sliders. As time goes on, I will make tweaks and within 40 or 50 games, I should have as solid a set as possible.
From what I have seen so far, many of the issues that couldn't be corrected through sliders in last year's game (sacks, completion % and big plays) appear to have been addressed, but we'll see as we go on.
The intent of this slider set is to as closely emulate actual NFL results as much as possible. Below are the league averages from last season that I will be trying to attain.
Slider Set 1.0 (8/27/15) Slider Set 2.0 (8/28/15) Slider Set 3.0 (8/29/15)
[b]Slider Set 4.0 (8/31/15)[/B Slider Set 4.1 (9/2/15) Slider Set 4.2 (9/3/15) Slider Set 5.0 (9/4/15) ]Slider Set 6.0 (9/9/15)

Clearly most of the major issues from last year have been addressed. This feels fairly close on default. It's a bit early to draw any conclusions, but the only outlier appears to be that turnovers were a bit high for quarterbacks the caliber of Brady & Roethlisberger. The game felt pretty good overall. There were enough big plays (an issue last year because quarterbacks were hesitant to throw down field), a halfway decent running game. Auto-subs particularly at the running back position may have to be tweaked some, although that in part may be because New England did not run the ball much all day and didn't need to give Blount much of a rest.

2 games in and a couple of trends are starting to show. Completion % still appears to be a little high, although much better than default last year. AI clearly taking more shots down the field (a plus) and default appears to be much closer than last year. Tweaks to be made, but it'll be another couple of games before I make any adjustments. I'd like to get some bad QBs in the game to see how they do. I had a small sample in my opening game when Brady went down and Garoppolo went 5/10 in his place.
