Played 3 games since re-setting the sliders and they were all tight games, thanks! Now I have a question.... is this a problem that can occur at any point during the season or is it a one and done fix?

Now anytime I get a big lead I feel like my game messed up again.

Yeah its quite feasible that the gameplay reverts back to pro or rookie w/o us actually seeing it.
To be safe, reset those sliders before each game. Also exiting out of the 1st loaded game and starting the game a 2nd time seems to clean things up.
Madden is synonymous for having a wacky 1st game and then you quit that game and play the same exact team again, and it's 100 better and competitive.

There is a lot of variety in the game. Every game wont be super competitive especially if you olay focused and consistent.

Re: Reset Gameplay/Penalty Sliders (CFM)

Copypaste from relevant thread

Default All Pro with DPI and DHolding bumped up so I see it more, 60 and 65. Had to quit the first game after I left the controller withour pausing and had a 1st and 37 from my own 1 when I came back. Come back and Browns ground game has over 100 in the first. Duke has used two good moves on both his runs for 19 and 11 and crowell weaved to the outside after I crashed the S into the b gap and got a huge 50 yard run. Looked like an all madden run last year where his bcv kicked in. I like the punishment for being reckless. Anyway down 17-0 after 1 qtr. Havent given up that many points in the whole game last two weeks. Interesting.

I have a 4-3 defensive pb in the vault and almost done with a 3-4 for ps-4. here are the two keywords to search for 4-3 def. pb. give it a shot and hope you like it:

keyword:

*DEFENSE17 or OS43PB2016

also, check my thread in the sliders forums for more info.

Thanks

Re: Reset Gameplay/Penalty Sliders (CFM)

So I just played a game on pure all pro default. I started a fresh CFM.

Auto Subs 60/80 for both MM and CFM

Raiders @ Saints (me)

I'm absolutely killing them going into the 4th. Something like 40-13.

Carr: 15/22 - 120 yds - 0 TD

Cooper: 1 rec - 9 yds

So I decide to try a theory Josh uses, and something I had been using when GB put nearly 600 yds on me, as I posted in your other thread.

I put MM Auto Subs at 0/60, CFM Auto Subs at 60/80.

I honestly can't tell you what he says it does, I don't remember and I don't have time to go through his entire thread, but Im sure he can tell you. But it seems to give the offense a boosted immediately. I'm going to actually ask him what it exactly it does.

Anyway, I started the CFM over again. Same exact way, fresh start.

Absolute only difference is MM Auto Subs at 0/60.

Same game, Raiders @ Saints (me)

Carr seems like a completely different QB already. First drive of the game, he went 5/7-75yds. Cooper had a 23 yd catch.

Going into the third quarter, I'm LOSING 41-21.

Carr: 18/29 - 241 yds - 2 TD

Crabtree: 3-52-1
Cooper: 2-38-0
