I'm absolutely killing them going into the 4th. Something like 40-13.

Carr: 15/22 - 120 yds - 0 TD

Cooper: 1 rec - 9 yds

So I decide to try a theory Josh uses, and something I had been using when GB put nearly 600 yds on me, as I posted in your other thread.

I put MM Auto Subs at 0/60, CFM Auto Subs at 60/80.

I honestly can't tell you what he says it does, I don't remember and I don't have time to go through his entire thread, but Im sure he can tell you. But it seems to give the offense a boosted immediately. I'm going to actually ask him what it exactly it does.

Anyway, I started the CFM over again. Same exact way, fresh start.

Absolute only difference is MM Auto Subs at 0/60.

Same game, Raiders @ Saints (me)

Carr seems like a completely different QB already. First drive of the game, he went 5/7-75yds. Cooper had a 23 yd catch.

Going into the third quarter, I'm LOSING 41-21.

Carr: 18/29 - 241 yds - 2 TD

Crabtree: 3-52-1
Cooper: 2-38-0
I get that improved cpu gameplay after resetting sliders. Now 1 game isnt going to determine it.
I say, test 3 games w/ 1 method and 3 w/ another.
Also are you giving the CPU a Generic PB or Custom?
All these moving parts play a part!

Autosubs are also crucial! I don't have mine at default, haven't for awhile now.
I was using 60/80(on most positions in CFM)
w/ HBs 82/84 or 84/86.
I know you have to be aware of the HBs stamina rating or they may disappear in the 4th.
So if they have low stamina rating, you would want the sub out lower, ie. 60/80.

D81Skins...check out my thread...you're dead-on....

Modifying ANY CFM sliders (even fatigue/penalties) is a bad idea for All Pro...CPU play calling variety goes out the door (even using generic PBs).

Auto subs can even hinder things. Especially if you leave it on default 50/49. That means players are staying on the field with fatigue as low as 51.

Now auto subs can fix this issue. Something like 80/70. Or 80/75 may be the right spot.
But yes, if your games are getting ridiculous and easy, reset those gameplay sliders in cfm.

Re: Reset Gameplay/Penalty Sliders (CFM)

Last tuner I had to do this to get the game back to playing good.
I'm wondering if with this latest tuner, if resetting the gameplay sliders may be needed again?
I see most guys testing the tuner with adjusted sliders, penalties, and they don't really get to see everything the tuner actually did.
For ex. Well I'm playing with Andy Dalton and throw 4 picks but they have the QBA slider @ 15 or something crazy low!
Sounds like Qba may need to be reset, huh?

I vote to delete the tuner.

How many games have you played before deciding to delete the tuner?

Post Tuner
Reset Sliders
Set my Penalty
Sliders(minor adjustments only)

1st game vs Steelers was a tough one!
They had me from the beginning but we made it close
14749060270161257294065.jpg
I did test a lower int slider (25 for both user and cpu).
Finally defenders drop ints!
Also the Steelers only change in Schemes were,
Vertical and Qb: Strong-Arm.
He had 2 beautiful Big Ben break out of sack animations and launched it deep both times!
This game was exciting, even though I was down 22-7 at halftime.
Neither Qb threw an int, I had 1 called back(would've been Josh Norman int) b/c of a RTP call.

So no Playbook changes for the Steelers and here's the Run/Pass splits
27/48
So yeah they were on the field passing all day! They still managed over 120 rushing with 27atts.
1st game w/ 0ints but it may just be this game.
If I don't see any caught in the next game, I may raise it to 30.

They held me to 50% passing, I was struggling to get time to throw deep but eventually I did!
Good game 29-26 L
