How would I set up CPU playbooks this way?

I have my offline franchise set up where the CPU controls all 32 teams on and off the field. I have 32 profiles set up for every head coach.

If I scrapped it and started over, how would I go about setting up the playbooks for all 32 teams everyone is talking about that's making the CPU call better plays? I believe it's the generic playbooks.

Go to my coach tab, select edit scheme, and change the playbook there. Then just do that for every coach

Thanks man. I change offense and defense, right? What do I change them to from playbook specific or whatever the default playbook is? I don't remember seeing a "generic" option. I'll have the auto-subs set up too.

This should help you get started.

I just adjust each team I'm playing a week at a time, no need to do all 32 if your not playing all 32 teams.
When I set the scheme to match the qb traits, it's worked well for the cpu.
So if the qb is mobile and is conservative, he would do well in a run balanced set playbook or even a West coast.

If he's strong-armed and aggressive, he would do well in most default playbooks (due to all the 4 verticals) or a form of spread/vertical playbook. Set the scheme to Vertical and playbook to Run & Shoot.

Use common sense, base the scheme off the personnel.

I saw the list below in your post. Would you make any changes to any of these teams besides maybe changing the Titans to "run balanced" or would you leave them alone too? Should I just leave the default defensive playbooks as they are?

You may like how good the Run N Gun is for mobile qbs.
Also the NE Default PB isn't bad at all! Not alot of the same 4 verticals on 3rd and 4th and longs.

As far as defense, I would say the generics are more conservative. Multiple D is good for those hybrid Defenses that play multiple fronts.
If you want them to play safer, go with the base 4-3, 3-4. If you want them to be more aggressive, give them their default.
With this day and age in football, multiple D may be the best option for more teams.
