Does weight matter in this game?

Sorry if this has been answered in years past. Does weight actually make a difference? When I scout I have specific size requirements for positions (CB's have to be 200+ lbs, for run support purposes). Am I wasting my time or does this actually make a difference? Do bigger players "hold up" better in the physical sense?

I do recall weight having an effect according to the developers. I have a created player in one of my CFMs, and he has forced almost twice as many fumbles as a 215lb safety than he did at 180lbs.

search for it at YouTube, there are many Videos with Tests in accordance to size e.g. small Center with high Strenght, who has no Problems in the o-line ... (I would post it, but i'm new here ... I have no Authorization :-D)

Changing a players weight definitely affects his ratings.
