I may be wrong but it could be because of you playing the owner role. I set my cfm up as the coach, try that and let us know if you have any luck.

follow the video i posted. if u take over a cpu team as a coach..lets use the packers an u will be mccarthy. u change their scheme an playbook. then go over to options an just hit retire. those changes will save...all u are retiring is u as a user using that team.

are u in an offline franchise?? u pick your team first, head coach or owner doesnt matter. then from that screen click r3. create new character. pick a team. it defualts to their current coach. just click start an it will bring you into that teams page..go to coaching schemes an make the changes. then just scroll over to options an hit retire. it will then bring you back to your teams page. rinse an repeat for all 31 other teams.
