Re: Statistics in sliders-Madden18

Forgot to clarify packages the are the RB and TE count:

22 = 2RB 2TE and 1WR
21 = 2RB 1TE and 2WR
12 = 1RB 2TE and 2WR
13 = 1RB 3TE and 1WR

As a general rule on running downs call cover 3

KinGro. I also noticed on your screenshot there were way to many plays happening. 137 total running plays in a game doesn't make any sense. YOu want about 65 plays per team per game with about 25 per team being run. It is still too many YPC. But you need to fix your plays per game if you want a realistic experience.

I use 19sec runoff and read the Defense and usually have 5 sec on the clock when I snap. I suspect you are snapping much earlier. You need to either decrease your clock to 13 min quarters or reduce you play clock to 11 seconds before you play again to get realistic statistics

Re: Statistics in sliders-Madden18

Played once more with a few adjustments and I love the effects. Every game has been challenging as well. I've trailed
10 of last 12 quarters.

My adjustments were to compensate run game : Since holding is 68(+18) I took CPU run block to 32(-18)
Cup jay ajaya started off great
11car for 66yd in 1st half.
He finished 26car 98yds.

Oreon excellent great minds think alike because your play calling suggestions are things that I just gameplanned in to stop run better.
I was calling a lot of cover 2 in first 3 games .

Ill post complete stats in a minute. It was great statistical game . I ended up blocking a fg attempt in the 4th that would of gave the CPU a 4 point lead with 4mins left.

They then scored with
1:27 left. And has me facing 3rd & 10 from my own 25. I made one hot route to my rb.. Kept one TE in to block. ID the mike. Each hot route payed off. The defense bit on my bait route. I hit Keenan Allen right in this alley on a skinny post and he housed it. Which would ultimately be the game winner.

Lastly 3-4 games have had real play amounts I don't see
137 being that big of an outlier. Were talking 7 plays out of range.. Moral of that though was I played that game
10 mins no accel
Cpu QB had 73 snaps
I had 64

9 no accel gives the right amounts

Re: Statistics in sliders-Madden18

Had another game that started out as a defensive battle but turned into a shoot out in my LA Chargers CFM.

1st half: Started off strong defensively, we forced 2 turnovers on the chiefs in their first 3 possessions. An Into as Smith tried to force a crossing route to Kelce. Also Forced a fumble on Alex Smith scrambling right to make a pass.

The chiefs held their own for their mistakes. Shortly after forcing a int, Marcus BALLHAWK Peters returned the pigskin back to his squad jumping a corner route.

My chargers would only end up with 6 points (2 fgs) despite forcing 2 turnovers in favorable field position.
The chiefs hit on a big run of 75 Spencer ware following my fg. (7-6 KC)

The second quarter was fire works both teams scored 17points
For the chargers: Another FG to start off quarter &
2 pass tds from Rivers

But KC battled back at one point down 23-10 they answered with a spiller td scamper. The biggest blow came on a 69 yard Spencer ware TD with 12 seconds left in the half. Losing all momentum bolts now trailed 24-23 at half.

3rd quarter: was a defensive quarter 4 punts and a Fg for the chiefs (27-23) KC

4th quarter full of fireworks!

KC would get FG pushing lead 30-23 at this point they had scored 20 unanswered points. Another chiefs punt left bolts pinned at their own 9.
A holding call and 2yd loss by B. Oliver left a 3rd & 16 for LA ; had a great play design couldn't get the ball off with Rivers super slow throwing animation : Safety. Likely would of been a 98 yard game tying td.
32-23 KC

Now with the game in Phil rivers arms what would happen?

Rivers answered with touchdown making it 30-32 KC with 5mins remaining
I came up with a user pick 5 plays into the KC drive and thought this is where I put the kids to bed. Momentum was back trailing by 2.
Like the theme all game the chiefs answered back. . .
Eric berry would make a diving interception along sideline. Then proceeded to get up and take it 52 yards to pay dirt. 39-30 KC

I would drive down field fast following a 48 yd kick return right when I needed it. But disaster struck again as Phil rivers was intercepted in the end zone.

A timeout and 2 minute warning allowed bolts to have one drive again down 9 with 153 to go. We would answer with 42 seconds left. Now it would come down to,onside kick in which we failed to execute.
KC steals one on the road 39-37

It was a great game overall highs and lows I was getting pretty mad during the game though.
Great stats as well

Doing the math, 16 or 17 second run off will give you the closest to a 128 game average, if you are using accelerated clock.

Re: Statistics in sliders-Madden18

Very glad to see you doing this for madden. I still coach.. coached the college level for a year and now in my second year at high school after playing thru college as a WR. I love your methods and how you approach the game and may buy it this year because of your work. My only question is how do you see sliders affecting a game that is played as coach mode (but I am actually having a player controlled and letting the CPU do everything) as in all I'm doing is a few pre snap adjustments and then hitting X to snap... the rest I leave up to the coy. But it's not a pure coach mode bc I enter into the game with two controllers and call plays for both sides of the ball as a neutral play caller

Re: Statistics in sliders-Madden18

How did you arrive at the Human QB ACC number? What routes did you test to come to this conclusion?
