What is the purpose behind changing the running backs? Never heard why this was being done.

Oh man... these are great! Only change I've made after one game was lowering the minutes to 13. First game had too many plays. I'm just quick on running plays I guess. I'm also in the midst of controlling every team. This allows me to do formation subs for the CPU halfbacks and it's looking awesome right now. In the offseason, this will allow me to make smarter free agency moves and drafts for all teams so we dont end up with stuff like that Zeke backing up Leveon Bell on the Cowboys crap.

I'm running a Lions chise and beat the Jets in the first game. It started off as a huge blowout for me but I didnt put them out when I had my foot on their throat and they made it scary once or twice late. Teddy Bridgewater really progressed through the game as he was absolutely horrible in the first half, but ended up throwing for like 350 yards and 3 TDs to finish the game.

Now I'm at halftime against the Niners. 8-16 in favor of San Fran. I got big safety but other than that it's just been a pair of field goals. Stafford threw an interception when we were around the 9ers 40 in the first quarter. That one to Richard Sherman. To end the half, we were really close to making it at least a 1 or 2 point game. Marched into the 9ers red zone. Stafford backed up to throw, had to roll a bit to the right, shook off a sack, then found Marvin Jones wide open in the end zone but I didnt plant my feet and ended up sailing the pass back about 5 yards to Jones left and right into the defenders hands. That was crazy. I felt so defeated. Passing has been ROUGH to say the least against the 9ers. And they really were passing all over us in the first but we were able to kind of plug the holes a bit in the second.

Halftime
Detroit 8 - San Fran 16

Stafford - 8/19, 116 yards, 0 TDs, 2 INT
Garoppolo - 11/21, 175 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT

9ers Rushing
Brenda - 10 ATT, -3 yards
Juszczyk - 4 ATT, 13 yards
McKinnon - 3 ATT, 21 yards

Lions Rushing
Blount- 4 ATT, 27 yards
Johnson - 4 ATT, 34 yards
Abdullah - 3 ATT, 22 yards
Roddick- 3 ATT, 4 yards

Johnson went out with an abdominal strain which is why Abdullah is playing. Normally I run Kerryon Johnson as my main back, with Blount getting the power and goal line runs, and Riddick as the third down back and in shotgun formations.

I have McKinnon set up more like Riddick on my team. Hes been playing more in 3rd down and shotgun situations. Going forward, I will probably throw him in a couple other sets to get him more rushes.

EDIT
Oh yeah we had a touch down in the back of the endzone to Marvin Jones on that same drive that Stafford threw the interception. We had a wide open touchdown. Caught it and was celebrating. Then I noticed the flag on the screen. Holding on the offense. That last drive of the first half had my heart in my throat twice.

So I simmed pre-season with injuries at 55...
A lot of teams have about 7-10 injuries after pre-season. This includes a lot of starters...

Idk about having it at 55 for sims

I've been skipping to the next play on punts, kickoffs, and field goals but I'm going to start kicking in my field goals. Had one blocked and another one where they should have kicked it and the CPU decided to run for me. Facepalm. The score is 10-16 now and I could have a tie game if I just kicked my own field goals. Of course the other one could have been blocked even if I kicked it myself and I wanted variety but the CPU running instead of kicking was a joke.

CPU RBís are constantly spinning and juking instead of hitting the hole and if they hit the hole anytime a defender getís near them they juke or spin and were constantly giving themselves up when they could easily get 2-3-4 more yards and sometimes have huge runs if they go north south vs east and west.

The RPM is causing this but when you lower the juke and spin moves which are high to begin with the CPU rbís get a lot better and more disciplined.

It works magic.

Armor do you think 55 injury slider is still good for when simming games? Just finished up the preseason and for some teams there were a lot of injuries.
