I wish their was a way to get more misfires from both user n CPU..I completed 25 of 35 for 396 3tds and 3ints... but only 2 misfires... the rest were pass break ups. I had 2 catches reversed due too illegal touching..


loving almost every aspect... cept qb accuracy...

even in games where percentages make more sense it's because of break ups and deflections... never more than 2 off Target throws in a game.

I just don't know what can be done to help this

(p.s. pressure doesn't seem to help, I've had games where I got like 6 or 7 sacks and the qb was as accurate as Rodgers or Brady on their best day)

Week 2: Rivers 38/47 (80%)
Week 3: Cousins 27/33 (81%)
Week 4: Rodgers 32/46 (69%)
Week 5: Mariota 32/47 (68%)
Week 6: Watson 28/43 (65%)
Week 7: Luck 24/41 (58%)
Week 8: Brady 30/47 (63%)
Week 9: Trubisky 29/44 (65%)
Week 10: McCown 31/41 (75%)

That’s an amazing array of accuracy percentages. Good stuff.

If people were more patient with madden stats, they’d probably see that the averages always come close to real life. I think that’s the SIM aspect. People quit on sliders too much. You need a 16 game sample.

Stats are not the place for knee jerk reactions. You don’t want an average every game; you want a nice range/delta that feeds into a nice fat average. You want it to be how your chart was—all over the place.

Here is my other thing....inaccurate throw does not equal incomplete pass. I see plenty of completed passes which were not quite on-target, the receiver had to adjust.

All I can say is that this is what I am seeing and this is why I have yet to be concerned/worried about it....as always YMMV with any slider set.

I love the statistical anomalies that happen. Like in year 2 Brees retired and the saint didnt draft a qb. They used Bret Hundley. Watched them play a really good falcons team and only have 6 first downs, but the saints somehow still won the game. Was awesome seeing something like this that would be a trivia question one day.

Which is very important point you both make..

I had extreme slider adjustments but I always come back to you're theory of basically going default.. the stats at the end of a season on default always come pretty damn close to matching real life..
