Yeah, lots of people getting slider/trait happy this year; frankly, I just don't think it is needed this patch. Sure, earlier patches had issues, but the game is pretty much perfect at default if you turn off ALL of the assists and acc clock (and leave fatigue at either 49 or 50).

Do I think raising run block will adversely effect other things? Meh, probably not. If you're just dying for more, a bump to 51 should be OK without disrupting too much....though I actually think lowering it to 49 would be a better approach as it will likely allow for better O-line releases on double teams to pick up other defenders. Personally, with enough sample size, I think it is fine "as is" if one plays a sim style and doesn't over-blitz.

OK guys.

I've had a bit of time to play around with things. I'm still really sold on the OP setup.

BUT....

I've taken suggestions made by Tizziboy and others regarding quarter length. I am adding an option for 10 min quarters (as always, leave acc clock off). CPU play calling is a fair bit more reserved at this length. You won't see them spamming shot/vertical plays when they are down in the 3rd quarter. They will call more down/distance-appropriate plays, especially on 3rd downs.

I do think the players play a tad more reserved at 10 minutes as well....so in some respects, you might think it is "easier" BUT it's more that they are pacing themselves for a "longer game". If you prefer your games to be a little quicker and maybe a tad more aggressive, 9 minutes is fine. If you are universally frustrated with the CPU calling deep plays (resulting in sack after sack) like I am, 10 minutes is a really nice solution. I've added it as an option to the OP.

It's like the animations aren't smooth..... Transitions seem jittery or a little off like the framrate is off or something. Madden has suffered from this in years past but it wasn't noticeable in '18.

YES. i am also seeing weird things like after the play guys walking into each other or freezing, players on others shoulders when the get up or player holding ball that is not visible, but more importantly during game play still seeing suction and teleporting.
