⏭ Slider Update Log

8/27/18 - I mentioned this in the thread today, but the next version is going to be driven around not using any penalty slider modifications. I want to create a "plug n' play" set. It will be based on Version 12. There may be modifications in some areas that I haven't changed before to compensate for no penalty adjustments.

Am I the only one not having any success when running the ball using the sliders? Averaging about 1 yard per carry and when I switch to my RB he either stops or starts running in the wrong direction.

For the set I provide, yes, they are reversed. In others, probably not. I have some significantly different penalty values that are geared to allow compensation of the zero threshold.

So users can just go off of the gameplay sliders, so Player/CPU Skills only, with threshold + fatigue serving as the base.

Penalty sliders are very powerful for gameplay, and I feel that there are too many exact requirements in past versions to ask of users of the sets. So it makes it especially hard to troubleshoot their issues because there are so many variables.

I work as a tech support engineer, so I know that if I were to try to diagnose someone's issue, we have to remove as many variables as possible here. Penalties, while great to bring gameplay elements to life, can be too many variables all at once.

Just played a good game with a slightly modified version 12. I wanted to open up the run game a little for both sides so I put offsides at 50 and tackle at 44/44. Everything felt really good except Garoppolo took 9 sacks. I may raise CPU pass block.

I ended up winning 31-24 on a late pick six. I was the Vikings.

Garoppolo (SF) - 25/45 - 55% - 328 - 2 TD - 3 INT
Cousins (MIN) - 18/38 - 47% - 234 - 2 TD - 2 INT

McKinnon (SF) - 16 ATT - 50 - 3.1 YPC - 1 BTK
Morris (SF) - 6 ATT - 31 - 5.1 YPC - 1 TD
Cook (MIN) - 16 ATT - 55 - 3.4 YPC - 1 TD - 1 BTK
Murray (MIN) - 5 ATT - 19 - 3.8 YPC

SF - 4 Sacks
