Re: Matt10's Madden 19 Sliders

Cowboys (85 ovr) vs Giants (77 ovr). All-Madden. Sliders followed exactly. Snow game!

Final: Cowboys, 35-17

Thoughts: Again, played very well. No complaints of cheese or anything. A bit heavy on injuries, lost 3 players long term to tears/dislocations. First game I lost no one, so it's a tough call if it should change.

Team Stats

Cowboys
Total offense: 293 (137 rushing, 156 passing)
3rd downs: 4/8
turnovers: 1 (fumble)
Penalties:0

Giants
Total offense: 368 (47 rushing, 321 passing)
3rd downs: 4/13
Turnovers: 3 (3 int)
Penalties: 0

Passing Stats
Dak Prescott (USER): 16/19, 164 yards, 1 TD, 0 int, 1 sack
Eli Manning (CPU): 28/42, 334 yards, 1 TD, 3 INT, 2 sacks

Again, played well. They actually rushed a lot of my passes. Receiver were making all the contested catches, it was impressive. OBJ and Manning cut me up well, two picks late in the 2nd quarter allowed me a lead and I held on to it. They thwarted my pass rush, it seems the slider at 10 isn't bad after all.

Rushing Stats
Ezekiel Elliott (USER): 13 carries, 64 yards (4.9 avg), 1 TD
Saquon Barkley (CPU): 15 carries, 47 yards (3.1 avg), 1 TD

Elliott left with a shoulder tear...right before playoffs ugh lol. Overall, it was good again. Giants love passing, and it showed. Saquon had a few good ones, but for the most part we stuffed him.

Re: Matt10's Madden 19 Sliders

1st game on V14 . Bumped CPU tackle to 45 and pass block to 15.

Jets (2-0) @ Browns (2-0)

Darnold fumbles on a scramble in the red zone 1st possession. Cleveland responds with a bomb to Jarvis Landry to go up 7-0. Would hold a 10-3 lead at halftime. Jets played like the Jets! Ok running game, Darnold struggled to get comfortable hovering around 50-60% with 86 yards passing.

Jets come out strong in the 2nd half putting up 3 TD’s lighting quick including a pick 6 by Morris Claiborne who had been getting abused up to that point. Was a beautiful play with great coverage that left Taylor throwing across the field on 2nd and 17 following a sack. Soo realistic. Browns battle back to make it 27-24 late in the 4th and hold the Jets to a FG with 1:42 left. Make two 1st downs in the ensuing drive until Jamal Adams snags a tipped ball with 50 seconds remaining to secure the W 30-24.

This was a ****ing joy to play!!! Great job. No one point stands out because there were countless plays that left me impressed. Best set by far!!! Can’t wait to play another game.

Tyrod: 21-31 350 yards, 1 TD, 2 INT, 3 Sacks
Brown’s HB’s: 20 ATT, 50 YDS, 2 TD, 4 broken tackles

Darnold: 23-36 291 yards, 2 TD, 0 INT, 3 Sacks
Jets HB’s: 32 ATT, 147 YDS, 0 TD, 6 broken tackles

Re: Matt10's Madden 19 Sliders

I hope to have my next Ravens game up against Bengals. I'll post here if I do. Only changes I'll try is CPU pass block at 20. And WR catch at 48 for both.

Re: Matt10's Madden 19 Sliders

So I been hearing that arcade mode is apparently the mode to play on with this game, has anyone tried it with these sliders? I mean testing it out now, see some positives but there’s a total of 4 turnovers already in the 1st quarter already lol

Re: Matt10's Madden 19 Sliders

V14. First time playing on all madden

Bills (me) vs Texans (cpu)

With watt and Clowney, I could hardly get anything going. I was down 10-13 at halftime. They got their running game going as well as their passing, even if it was with Joe Webb, Watson was injured.

I ended up losing by 17

Was a very fun game. Finally got my passing game going towards the end but still threw 2 INTs on stupid throws by myself. And I only was able to average about 1.2 yards per carry

I face the colts next. Hopefully the human running game shows up next game

Re: Matt10's Madden 19 Sliders

Since I rarely post game stats, figured I'd post the one I finally got done playing. We tested the rookie QB, and he didn't show up, as much as he tried. McCoy tried as well, but when it mattered, they couldn't get in the endzone.

Difficulty: All Pro (Home game)

Ravens (user) v Bills (CPU)

Final Score: 17-9

Ravens Passing:
Flacco - 14/26, 229 yds, 2 TD, INT - sacked 2x

Bills Passing:
Allen(R) - 13/34, 126 yds - sacked 2x

Ravens Rushing:
J. Allen - 16 rush, 77 yds, 13-long, 1 btk
A. Collins - 17 rush, 66 yds, 14-long, 3 btk

Bills Rushing:
L. McCoy - 18 rush, 73 yds, 14-long, 4 btk

Ravens Receiving:
W. Snead IV - 3 rec, 25 yds, TD
H. Hurst - 3 rec, 69 yds, TD

Bills Receiving:
C. Clay - 6 rec, 58 yds
J. Kerley - 3 rec, 29 yds
K Benjamin - 3 rec, 26 yds, 4 drops

Ravens Defense:
T. Suggs - 6 tak (5 solo, 1 ast), 2 TFL, 2 sacks
C. Mosley - 7 tak (3 solo, 4 ast), 2 TFL

Bills Defense:
L. Alexander - 12 tak (5 solo, 7 ast), 1 TFL, INT
S. Lotulelei - 9 tak (5 solo, 4 ast), 1 sack
J. Hughest - 5 tak (3 solo, 2 ast), 1 sack

*************

I know there is some hesitancy with the 10 PBL, but please don't isolate the values. Sacks are part of the game, but primarily focusing here is the STR values between the OL and DL. You will now see a proper PUSH from the DL, it's just natural forces coming together. The key is here is when the QB play is significant to the CPU. If you put pressure on a good QB, they will play like a good QB. If you put pressure on a bad QB, they will play like a bad QB.

Coverage is the best it's been, if you feel bad for the CPU for getting sacks on them, then lessen your coverage by lowering INT and raising pass coverage, these two values will give them more space. However, I think a sample size of 3-5 games is ideal before adjusting values.

The real key is if you are modifying sliders that you DO NOT play a different game each time. Slider testing can be boring because the person testing sliders has to replay the SAME GAME over and over again to seek the desired result and difference. I can't tell you how many times I've played the game I posted above.
