Re: Madden 19 CPU vs CPU Sliders

Hey guys, do you mess with the 1 Star, 2 star, 3 star, etc ratings of the playbooks?

I do because I use the Ravens so I had to create a new playbook for Lamar, Iím not completely finished but it does help with the realism of the play calls for me

Re: Madden 19 CPU vs CPU Sliders

Itís been since early release, havenít retried custom books yet. Not sure if it negatively effects gameplay.

For Lamar, try Texans playbook and change scheme to spread. But to be honest, generic spread playbook would probably be best. Especially in cpu/cpu mode. Iíd play with generics before i would customs. Default Playbooks are working good with the 90 QB acc. Seems like that boosts playcalling and makes it more of a chess match.

West coast generic book is really fun too. Easily the best playbook on the game.

You have to assign generic playbooks to when you select a team. This year it wonít let you choose generic playbooks in CFMs coaches playbook selection tab.

One of the reasons I ask is because Iíd like to see more runs with other backs. I started a new offline franchise with the Patriots and James White runs the ball 90% of the time with Sony Michel and Burkhead getting a touch or two every so often.

Formation subs would be way easier for this. Check the OP. I have a formation subs guide.

Put White in the three WR under center sets.

Put Michel in all of the 2 back sets and 1 back 2 TE sets.

Put Burkehead in more of the shotgun formations.

I try to make these formation subs for both teams. Really makes gameplay way more dynamic, and the cpu AI will keep using that formation and player if they get hot. The 90 qb acc helps push this.

Re: Madden 19 CPU vs CPU Sliders

Does editing traits for players mess with the gameplay at all?
