These final scores are good. The average NFL game isn’t that close. The average score is 29-18. So these 14 point differences are good.

Good stuff.

Again, thanks for posting your stats. Means a lot.

Re: Madden 19 CPU vs CPU Sliders

Can't wait to buy this game soon and use your sliders, Tommy. Things in past Madden games involving CPU vs CPU contests that made me give up on them were too many field goals instead of going for TD's, too many sacks, ineffective RB's, and QB's throwing the ball short on 3rd down bringing up a field goal attempt or a punt. Do you think the CPU is playing more like what to see on Sundays with these sliders you've put together and the patches that have been making tweeks? Thank you for the time and work you've put into these. I'll be tracking your updates.

Re: Madden 19 CPU vs CPU Sliders

Just had my first OT game with Titans and Dolphins. Fins pulled out the win 34-28 with like less than 2 minutes left in the game. Almost ended in a tie.

It's not gonna be like what you see every Sunday in real life. But these are the closest we will get for now. QBs make good decisions to what they see. For example tannehill was seconds away from being sacked and he managed to throw it away just in time.
Only issue I've seen is with mobile QBs. They try to pass first, they don't really attempt to run unless being chased by a defender and that usually ends in a couple yards or a sack. Mariota had 435 yards passing on 57 pass attempts. Only had 1 rush for 3 yards.

Re: Madden 19 CPU vs CPU Sliders

Third Game
Browns 8 at Saints 32
2 Interception at 15 (Yards are good) one for each team
2 Injuries at 24
Sacks 1 for the Browns, 5 for the Saints

Interceptions look good
Sacks look good
Injuries are a bit low at 24 but occur in every game 1 or 2 ( May want to bump this up to 26) I personally think 8 injuries would be too much for a Franchise, I would like to see 4 or 5 per game.

Thanks!
I've done some slider development myself so I know it's not easy, I'm here to help :-)

Re: Madden 19 CPU vs CPU Sliders

Played a few games over the last couple days. All were very good close scoring games (biggest point differential was 6). One issue I've noticed is QBs having very high completion percentages (anywhere between 65-85%). While not the worst thing in the world as it didn't affect the passing yards that much, it can be annoying to see a QB like Josh McCown or Mitch Trubisky completing 75% (est.) of their 35-40 pass attempts while Matt Stafford and Jared Goff complete 60% (est.) of their 35-40 pass attempts as well.

I did some research and looked at the 2017 NFL completion percentages for each QB and the average completion percentage for QBs was anywhere between 50%-70% completion. The only exception I noticed was Drew Brees who had a god-like 72% completion rate (~5% better than 2nd place Case Keenum, 67.6%).

I tried lowering QB accuracy to around 60 and it just resulted in easier INTs by the defense. Not sure if this is fixable or just something I need to compromise for.
