Re: Madden 19 CPU vs CPU Sliders

That’s what great about watching the cpu play itself. If you’re deficient in any areas, your team will get punished. Love that teams have distinctive weaknesses and strengths. The Pats have no pass rush and it shows on d. They’re not bad against the run, but the fins passes for over 400 yards. They sacked Tanneyhill twice. Tua wasn’t sacked all game.

If people ever want to questions if ratings matter, try playing with a team with a defense as low as mine... garbage! But it’s lol. Carr has been atrocious, but in his defense his WRs drop 90% of everything or he throws into double coverage haha. Lynch has been the lone bright spot at least. Sadly Carr got hurt with a shoulder Tear and missed 4 weeks but only two games. McCarron has been a mess and scary to watch. 52% so far on the year... if there was a reward for most missed tackles and dropped passed, my team would be winning!! Oh well, Vegas here comes the crappy Raiders!!! I can’t wait for offseason, I’m loaded with picks haha.

Edit; Make that 0-6 pretty much. Losing to Seattle badly already in the third. 26-9.

I love it too, it is great. Ratings really shine and any weakness are shown. I have 9 maybe 10 sacks on the season as a team? I generate zero pass rush almost and this leads to QBs having all day. So when I get a sack, I throw a freaking party!!

Re: Madden 19 CPU vs CPU Sliders

Giovani Bernard just had a 98 yard TD run. Awesome stuff. Year 3 and this game really takes off.

Re: Madden 19 CPU vs CPU Sliders

I have just finished putting the stats together for the end of season and getting a comparison to the ones Tommy posted from his watched week 1 games.

I simmed more games than watched, i watched all Skins games and every other team 4 times each over the season. I decided this would give a good comparison of how simmed and watched game stats compare. And with the stats Tommy also posted an even better sample size to compare with.

Total passing yds - 128,871 for season. Ave per team - 4,027. Most: Falcons 5,059 least: Buccs 3,131. 15 QB's threw over 4,000 yds. M.Ryan 420/594 at 70% for 5,054 yds.

Ave YPG per team: 251.7
Comp/Att 11,035/17,398. Ave per team 344.8/543.6 at 63.4%.
Per game Comp/Atts - 21.55/33.97

Yds per pass - 7.4
TDS - 974 - 30.43 per team and
Tds per game - 1.90
Ints - 375 - 11.71 per team
Ints per team per game - 0.73

Rushing Atts - 12,508 - 390.87 per team
Rush Yds - 47,910 - 1,497.2 per team Most Redskins 2,230, least Bills 942. L.Bell top rusher with 1,292 yds, M.Lynch 1,286, T.Gurley 1,278. Gurley missed 3 games through injury.

Rush Atts per game - 24.4
Rush yds per game - 93.57
Yds per att - 3.83
Rush Tds - 473 - Ave per team 14.78 Most by Jags 26, least Jets 8
Rush Tds per game - 0.92

Sacks - 1,161 - 36.28 per team. Most Eagles 54, least Seahawks 19
Sacks per game - 2.26 (For watched games it was a little higher at 3.09 per team).

Total points - 11,800
Ave points per team per game - 23.04. Most Seahawks 494 - 30.87 per game. Least Bills - 264 at 16.5 per game.

First downs - 8,687
First downs per game - 16.96

Turnovers - 449
Turnovers per game - 0.87

Penalties - 3,031
Pen yds - 25,734
Per team per game - 5.91 - 50.26

3rd down ave - 46.94

TFL - 2,897 - ave 90.53 per team
TFL per game - 5.65

Deflections - 1,036 - Ave 32.37 per team
Defl per team per game - 2.02

I was quite surprised at how well these looked against Tommy's and the NFL real averages. The only one i saw quite a big difference between the simmed and watched games is Pass deflections.

IN the watched games there was an average of 6.03 per team pe game to the 2.02 for simmed games. Its quite a lot more than Tommy is seeing and over twice as much as NFL ave.

This might be due to the Redskins having the worst passing def in the NFL as i watched mostly their games giving up 281.1 yds per game. They easily had the most deflections for the season and the 2nd most sacks and Ints in the league although these stats overall still look. The run defence came in 30th giving up 107.8 yds per game.

The offense faired better, passing for 228.25 ypg and rushing 139.37 ypg.

Tommy's stats posted below

Average score 27.9 to 15.7

Re: Madden 19 CPU vs CPU Sliders

Forgot to add i was using the formation subs Tommy suggested and in a lot of teams there were 2 or 3 HB's with over 100 carries each. It was good to see.

Some of this will be down to injuries as HB seem to be the most affected position by them but the majority played at least 12 games and shared the load around nicely. IN the watched games im watching its looking real good.

Good seeing you back on here HC. Glad you got caught up at work so you can see these in action. If people used this style of play, they’d get their money’s worth.
