I didn't buy Madden 18 last year but it appears that pre-existing injuries cannot be disabled for exhibition games. Anyone know a way or have a roster to get around that issue? It's probably been asked before but there are a few major players who are already out for the year (ex: Hunter Henry) who aren't playable in exhibition games.

Re: iMac2307's Madden 19 Simulation Settings - Roster & Sliders

I just found this thread last night and with so many people chiming in who I know are all about realistic gameplay, I decided to do all the trait editing for a couple of teams to try it out...

Everything that has been said in this thread is completely on point. I could massage the game to play pretty well with just the sliders changes, but the changing the traits raises the gameplay to a sublime level.

One thing that has been mentioned a little bit, but isn't get the attention it deserves is that somehow changing the traits seems to have fixed 90% of the blocking flaws. Blockers target the right players, are able to get to the second level appropriately, and when a defender defeats a block it looks realistic and isn't a crazy insta-shed. I don't understand why this works, but it's extraordinary.

Huge shout out to iMac and everyone else involved in discovering how game ruining some of the traits are. It's really a complete game changer.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#[email protected]& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

No way to fix this for play now. Ridiculous idea by EA that they think creates more realism she everyone has told them they hated it last year. Only thing you can do is use the day one roster and update it yourself without the injuries.

If anyone was wondering that Franchise guys roster on Xbox is playing amazing with the trait edits. My edits are a little different, but working great with the roster and these edits listed here would work as well.

Good to know. I'm looking forward to his ratings edits coming to PS4!

It's so crazy how EA don't even realise the implications of their own designs. I genuinely don't get what High Motor does and why they felt it is necessary to give it to every player in the game. I created a player earlier and all of his traits were automatically set to off, except for High Motor.

It's like they have agreed it's a trait that needs to be on...
