It felt fairly smooth once I got into a rhythm. I made a little spreadsheet of which teams had roster spaces/cap space, which let me note which FAs I'd signed to which team. The facility to use LS to check player traits was also super helpful, although high motor isn't listed as a default trait in QB/K/Ps which meant I needed to manually edit all of them. I think one QB had the trait, with no kickers or punters. Oh well.

First impressions on running through the preseason with this roster (Armor & Sword sliders, Patriots offense only, 15 min quarters, simmed backup quarters) are that gameplay comes as advertised. Running plays feel smoother and less panicked. I run a zone running scheme and the O-line is a decent fit for it, and I can move the ball much easier. I'll still get blown up for losses at times, but it's much less frequent and feels earned (rather than a psychic frontside DE or a backside DE with SPD, ACC and PUR all 180). Players seem to play to their ability as well - running inside zone against Snacks Harrison was a nightmare, but I cut through some other fronts really nicely if I was patient.

Tackling feels more sensible - fewer flying bodyslams, much more of a process, with more chance for elusive runners to escape and power runners to truck through them.

Earned's a good word to use, thinking about it. Contested catches feel fairer, and I've not had a random defensive back become possessed by Ed Reed and sprint 40 yards to make an incredible and implausible interception. Coverage busts are rare.

18 thumbs up from me.

iMac2307's Madden 19 Simulation Settings - Roster & Sliders

Used our league sliders (all madden, sim), plus the roster and wow what a difference.

Here’s the game tape if anyone’s interested in watching:

When you say you used LS to check traits, what do you mean? Does this save time?

When I was doing it I would go to manage players click A then RB or LB to traits tab then review and change the necessary traits depending on position and then press start to save. Rinse and Repeat for every player through team position groups until the team is complete then to the next one.

If there is a faster way please explain for the future?

I see that some people here are playing on All Madden with the IMACTRAITS roster. What All Madden slider sets are you all using? How do you like the game play?

Sorry if this has been posted before, but it is tough reading through 40 plus pages of material.

iMac's roster is legit. It's a game changer for sure. There are a lot of good All-Madden slider sets this year. Personally, I think the gameplay is awesome. Is it perfect? No. Will it ever be perfect? No. But you get from it what you put into it. Check out the various threads. My suggestion is to start with one, but be willing to draw off of others as well until you find what works best for you.

I've been using my own set, which is in the OP. My set is built from a combination of my own preferences, and Raider_Rens suggestions, which I am personally thrilled with. Can't advise if that's a universally good set though, as I have a particular play style.

I've heard a lot of people using Matt10's with this roster and having a great time, so if you're an All-Madden guy, that would be the first thread I'd recommend checking out.

If you like All-Pro, definitely use Armor & Sword's set. I watch his streams and the game is fantastic. I have even been flirting with using them myself.

I haven't heard much around other slider sets such as Flazko's, Jarodd's or Charter's, so I don't know how setting up with that is playing.

Hope that helps.

A liitle nugget in regards to your Spoiler section #5 iMac.

You may know this already, but for the ppl that might not. When you user the DL (which I do) the interaction or the look will be different because EA only has a set of animations that the user can showcase. When its all CPU controlling the DL they have a different set of animations (More) that can be triggered. Not sure how it affects the CPU QB logic however.

IMAC, your latest roster on Madden share is corrupt. You may need to re-submit it. You get an error message everytime you try to download it. There was a post buried a few pages back which said the same so I think it's the same for everyone. Just a heads up.
