Actually, if I read the notes correctly, if it was at 35, it should be set to 60 now.

Default 50 now would be 75.

New default setting added for the Player Speed Parity Scale
DEV NOTE: To address a common piece of feedback from our community about slower players being too successful at chasing down faster players in the open field, we have stretched out the “Player Speed Parity Scale” to increase the discrepancy between players of different speeds. The scale has been expanded to almost double its default value. The goal of this tuning is make a 5-point difference in Speed feel more like a 10-point difference. If you have been playing on the default value already and would like to continue playing on that value, simply reset this value to 75 instead of 50 via the Gameplay Settings menu. However, the new value will be the default setting for online play.

Basically says default 50 is now 75. So, 0 would be 25. Basically whatever setting you had it on, if you liked the results, then bump it UP 25 points to get the same results.

If you have it at 40 now, it would have been 15 before this update.....

Haven't played too much lately. Noticed speed parity differences immediately but haven't dug too far into other things.

Flazko, did you see my post above? I think you misunderstood the speed parity....it's not a 10 point difference slider wise, it is a 25 point difference now....

I continued messing with speed parity this morning and I think setting it to 50 for both sets is perfect, this is if it was set at 25. I like the speed differences. I misinterpreted the Dev Note about speed parity. When they said " a 5 point difference will feel like a 10 point difference" they were talking about the differences in speed rating. If a player is 5 points faster than an other player, it's as if he's 10 points faster. I thought they were speaking about the parity slider specifically. When it comes the actual speed parity setting, it's doubled, meaning if you have it set to 50, it's like you set it to 25. Default is now 75. So if you were using it at 50, you set it to 75 now. So technically I had it set at 35, which would now be 60. To explain it simply, originally 50 was default, i decreased by 15 points to 35. Now default is 75 so I should decrease to 60 but I'm going to set it to 50 which is 25 points from 75 (default). So it's going to feel like if you were using it at 25 which I actually thought was perfect but I settled on 35 originally.


Sorry, I know it's confusing. They should take out speed parity in my opinon but that's for an other day.
