SO MANY FUMBLES - Even at 0

I fumble 2-3 times a game, even with the fumble set at zero, never fighting for yards, covering the ball....Am I alone? Its making the game hard to enjoy.

Is there a slider set that addresses this? Or am I alone?

Fumble at 0 = more fumbles; Fumbles at 100 = fewer games.

Re: SO MANY FUMBLES - Even at 0

~77ish gets you the most realistic fumble rate (fumbles lost per 100 snaps) compared to NFL.

Even benchmarking rates is a bit flawed in that Qbs fumble a bit more often & RBs fumble a bit less often than the NFL. Since players tend to sit back & take more sacks. But imo 77ish is probably the best bad solution I've seen. Set lower if you want a more realistic rate for RBs.

Yea. That would be because lowering the slider causes more fumbles. Raising it causes fewer

That makes perfect sense.

Seriously. In what world does increasing a value on a subject make it less likely to happen. Maybe the slider should be titled "ball protection" instead. Then the number scheme would make more sense.

So....is the interception slider the same? If I increase the interception slider do I get less interceptions? (I don;t think so but I am using this as an example to the weird behavior of the fumble slider).

No, Interceptions work intuitively.

The fumble slider is really more of a "ball protection" or even "running back ability" slider.

If you go and look at them in the main menu the description is there for all of them. They’ve work this way for a long time

What's interesting, is that when you look at the code description for these sliders; it states, "This value sets the probability per play of this event occurring ".

Seems like there's a disconnect somewhere.
