In your opinion, how do you get the best "Coach-only" Madden experience. I mean if you do not want to actual play the matches your self.

Use your sliders and watch every game?

Sim games? If so, with which settings, sliders, etc?

For me it's the most fun when Im only a coach but I can't figure out how to get the most out of Madden and have the most fun only being a coach.

Hi cvoersaa,

I enjoy doing the GM management functions for all 32 teams and watching the results of that by watching each game and not simming any so the stats line up.

I make unbiased decisions for every team before each game which may include roster changes, trades, contract negotiations, Free Agent Bidding, Scouting and weekly training and hiring and firing staff.

I have no interest in doing the direct coaching functions such as calling plays or playing games, I leave that to the Head Coach and Staff.

It’s exciting watching the results of each game based on decisions made for the teams playing, tracking the stats and scores etc.

I’m the Owner and GM not the Coach and have all Owners selected in the league options and not Player or Coach.

Hope this answers your question, it’s a more strategic way of playing than tactical.

I just had a game with two Pass Deflections with 15 minute quarters, I will post the stats tonight.
A first, but shows that it can happen in a game

No major issues thus far, I do get a crazy game I would say maybe 1 out of 10 games, stats wise, that I have to watch again, had the same issue with Madden 08 PC.

There is no perfection, but these sliders I'm very happy with for CPU vs CPU 15 minute quarters with my settings.

No issues with 15 Minutes Quarters, 15 Second ACC Clock if you are watching games with this setup
