Re: cdcool's 15 min Quarter: CPU vs CPU (Watched General Manager) sliders

Now this was a really good game that went right down to the final play of the game. However, this is the first game with that wonky 20 yards rushing total. And the passing yards were kinda high, especially for a QB's first ever game (Josh Allen). Lol but, still a fun game to watch.

Leonard Fournette was on fire in this game. However, there were only 20 total rushing yards for the defeated team. A decent game other than that though.

16 total pass deflections, with 6 alone coming from Jalen Ramsey.
6 total sacks, with the Giants getting 4 and Jags with 2.
6 total penalties.

Re: cdcool's 15 min Quarter: CPU vs CPU (Watched General Manager) sliders

I wonder if deleting the Play Call file will improve the run game a bit. I've heard that deleting it will improve play calling overall, especially for run plays. How much of an improvement, I'm not sure. But currently, it seems that once the run game starts to falter just a little, the offense abandons it and focuses on passing most of the game.

I mean, it'll suck having to delete the Play Call file every time you start the game up since it downloads it again. But it may be worth it.

Also, with the Play Call file deleted, I'll also test a few games with:
Tackling 40
WR Catching 35

My reasoning for those two slider changes is to possibly cut down on some big YACs by WRs and especially TEs in some cases. Also, it may cut down on some unreasonably high game scores and QB passing yard totals. Not sure what it could improve for the rushing game, if anything at all. It could stop some wonky broken tackles I've been seeing.

Also, I wish there was a way to get the QB to throw the ball away more, especially when the pocket collapses. Too often I've seen the QB stand in the pocket for around 5-7 seconds until he gets sacked because there is nobody open and he refuses to throw it away.
