I would say it most likely is - Armor is really good about keeping followers of his sliders aware of when he updates

I'm curious if you have noticed whether changing the autosubs breaks them or not. JoshC mentioned in his sliders thread that you should not change them from the default. But I rarely see my backup players coming into the game when my starters are tired on longer drives.

To be honest I have not touched M20 in probably 3 weeks now. I have been playing Madden 16 a ton more (classic rosters).


I will get back at it here this weekend with Madden 20 as I am in year 3 of my Dolphins rebuild and want to finish off the season. We made some huge moves (getting Alvin Kamara being the big splash in free agency) and feel we have a built a true contender.

I will report back if any changes were needed although I anticipate nothing needing to be changed.

And it also reaffirmed that Madden 16 is still the best Madden they have ever made.

Back to 16 I go again. It is just so much better in terms of gameplay, feel, simulation. Yes you must do 32 team control to manage the hyper progression so you can make sure the CPU teams progress players properly and do proper roster management.

But on the field. Just feels so much better folks.

Madden 20 is a solid title. The player controls are better in terms of jukes and what not. The passing game a little more refined. Better franchise mode for customization for sure, but 16 has me again.

I will finish out Year 3 of the Dolphins but will be probably be done with 20 after that.

I am having more fun with the classic rosters on 16 (1986,1990,1999). And doing one season replays with various teams.

Game simply feels better. QB AI is vastly better, penalties and fatigue work properly. Tackling feels so much better and player movement and game speed feels smoother.

Different strokes for different folks I guess.

Madden 21 is not in my future.

hi Armor,

I use your sliders for mlb the show, so was reading this thread since i bought Madden for the first time ever.

Can you explain in detail what is better in Madden '16? I can get it very cheap here, so am interested why you think it is better than '20.

Also interested to know what is better in '20.
