Ok... finally got some good playing time in with the new patch, including my next keeper game...

Wow, this game is a shadow of what it once was. This game went from being potentially the best Madden of this generation of consoles, to meh, mediocre at best. The game no longer has a nice feel to it, and the animations have fallen off considerably. The screen looks much jerkier, and not nearly as smooth. Oh well, it is what it is. I'm carrying on full steam ahead.

I've made a few changes to the OP:

Catching to 60 from 50, for User
Catching to 40 from 50, for CPU
11 minute quarters / no accel clock
CPU TAK to 40 from 42


Note: These changes are actually correlated to the patch, with the exception of possibly the CPU TAK, which I will detail below.

I've noticed a significant pick up in CPU TFL over my lat 2 games (one was before the patch, and the other was after the patch). The constant here is XP for OL. I bumped XP for OL only, to match TDawg's a couple of games back. One would think that this change would impact both the User and the CPU. Since User TFL hasn't changed, it's hard to say if the XP increase has caused an issue (or not). At any rate, I have decided to drop TAK back to 40 for CPU, for the time being. That may level it out... if I still see an issue with the User OL, I may drop those XP modifications.

The only other thing I'm going to consider, is dropping CFM INJ to 10 from 20... since injuries are broken as is, I may revert back to my sister team approach, and enjoy the effects the reduced INJ value.

Hey Raider just got the game! Saw before you were messing with turning IMD on once the game was started. Still doing that?

Hey KP! No, you don't need to do that any longer. Leave that as it is - on by default in the MM and off when in CFM game (it defaults to off when you're in game - it still gets called when appropriate).

One of the more recent patches has re-calibrated that setting under the hood.

No accelerate clock ok on what's the play number of attempts are ppl getting with it off

11 minute quarters / no accel clock = at or around 120 plays (pass attempts / sacks / rush attempts).

Some games you'll have more than 120, others will have a bit less.

The CPU run has disappeared it's not a threat for the user anymore. Any suggestions?

Yes! Reduce TAK for user. That's the easiest thing to do, without distressing too much. I would take it down to 45 as a starting point, and then see where you're at.

Questions though: How much do you blitz? Do you stack the box? Who is on your DL? Who are your LB's and box S?

Has the game progressed it seemed to get better I play with Miami and mark Ingram with 112 I guess I jumped the gun
