Curious, what team are you using, and what year are you in?
Chargers year 1. Ran off 12 wins in a row.

Moral really does play a big factor. A few wins in a row and your team really picks up steam.

Tbh the chargers are an 84 overall. Their schedule is very soft. I was in close games but after a while it felt like all pro. I checked my settings a few times. Lol

The Chargers, IMO, are a complete Madden team. Theyíre a lot of fun to use, and youíre apt to win quite a few games out of the gate, but 12-1 is on the extreme side.

Ok... OP is updated. Itís literally back to where it was, pre-REN meltdown, with a one-click difference.

Iím kicking off my franchise, tomorrow night... Friday Night Lights!

It's actually just User QBA.

We were running 40 CPU TAK all along... I toyed with dropping that, but the one-click bump up to User QBA takes care of the hot CPU pursuit.

Thatís two gameplay sliders.

From there, I also like a reduction in global and Hum offense, both of which can be modified via the Hum QBA slider. This brings us to three gameplay sliders.

Based on past iterations of AM, Hum catching usually needs a bump, while CPU catching can use a reduction. This slider is more of a catch radius than what the playersí hands physically do with ball contact. Think of it as a sphere around the receiver. At default 50ís that sphere is quite a bit smaller for the human user than the CPU. Thatís essentially the rationale behind those two sliders on our OP. This brings us to five gameplay sliders. Now... you can by all means leave these two at 50ís if youíre MO is to run as close to a default setup as possible.

Last, but not least, is the CPU INT slider. This has been notoriously OP for the CPU on AM. During the Madden 20 beta and the OOTB disc version 1.00, I was able to leave CPU INT @ 50, for the first time. Ever. Unfortunately the patch effect took over, and resulted in the legacy need for a reduction to this slider. FWIW, I still give OOTB play a thought every now and again. Iím too much of a fan of the bells and whistles that some of these patches have brought us, to revert back. But, itís always an option. There are also too many bugs and glitches OOTB... as always.

This is how I arrive to my six gameplay slider modifications.

Back to your question - if you want to try a ďcloser to defaultĒ AM set up, Iíd recommend a set up something like this:

10 / 10 INJ
40 / 40 face mask
10 CPU QBA
Everything else @ 50, and then tweak the other above mentioned sliders as you see fit.

Well, first and foremost, my apologies if you thought I was questioning your current sliders. I was asking if you thought all of these adjustments were still necessary on current All Madden, since they've been tuning the snot out of the game this year.

Second of all, I got in a lot of playing last night. Rolled with default All Madden after the patch. And what did I see? Pretty much all the issues this slider addresses, and a generally unenjoyable experience. So I plugged in your set, and voila! The best games I've had since I bought the game. 2 absolute nail biters against solid teams.

I honestly have no idea how things can get so out of whack so quickly. Maybe the staggered difficulties threw my game for a loop, or maybe they were tweaking some things under the hood. Who knows. But DLing the new patch ironed everything out and the set is playing great currently. But wow, was it a mess for a bit.

My minor spell of slideritis seems to have quickly ended. Strange that it coincided with yours as well though.

See comments above haha. After the patch, I saw robo QB, frustrating catch animations, and other All Madden shenanigans. Still rocking default after the patch?
