So with the qb acc set to 21 the passes still seem okay? Like not all conservative?

Not trying to take over your slider page but wanted to get others thoughts on something. I've been running with your 51 Reaction time/Pass coverage with 50 QB Acc and 20 PBK. I have Mask/DPI split of 40/60. Everything else is the same as your current slides.

My 7 games of running with this here are my opposing QBs #s.

Garoppolo 25-34 73% 255 YD 1 TD 1 INT
Wilson 13-26 50% 90 YD 0 TD 2 INT
Brady 28-37 75% 278 YD 2 TD 5 INT
Flacco 20-35 57% 150 YD 0 TD 2 INT
Allen 24-35 68% 220 YD 1 TD 3 INT
RoethlisB 30-40 75% 261 YD 1 TD 1 INT
Fitzpat 25-37 67% 295 YD 2 TD 1 INT

Totals 165-244 68% 221 YDs/GM 6 TD 15 INT

I like where the Completion % is at but want to see a slight increase in YDs and definitely an increase in TDs and decrease in INTs. The CPU really struggles versus man defense and has most of its success against zone defense.

Don't know if you remember but were you seeing similar to this when you still had those settings? Did moving to your current slides make the passing easier or harder for you? Any suggestions? I really like the way the game is playing with what I have but don't like the TD/INT ratio currently. Getting rid of a few of the picks would probably also help up the yards slightly.

I didn't like messing with PDRT or Coverage. Moving one of both of those to 51 borked everything. CPU QBs were way too conservative. Go back to what is on the OP if you're looking to improve CPU QB play. That is where we are at from here on out. This set is locked, loaded, and ready to roll.

As always, if you need more or less of anything, feel free to make your own changes. This set is a solid base as a whole.

At CPU QBA @ 21, I see some great and unique QB play. Rodgers shredded me last night (I was CHI), and I kept Baker in check (I was TEN). The sweet spot for this slider relative to this set is 21-23; I have settled on 21.

To follow up on my prior response: if you're looking for more out of the CPU QB, move CPU QBA up one click at a time. I would stay in a range of 21-24, as 20 was too soft and 25 began to bring out RoboQB.

I am locked in on 21. If I want more out of the CPU QB as I progress, I will consider a one click increase.

OP is updated. The set is now locked down. We're good to go and ready to roll.

We have decided to go with OPI set to off. With it off, the warping catches are toned way down, resulting in a few more natural misses. Balls that are sightly out of the reach of non-elite and upper tier receivers are more apt to be plain missed. In addition, the WB / DB interactions and animations look spectacular. Full credit to Darth Raider on that. I wasn't planning on looking at that this year.

Anyone who is using this set, please feel free to use it as your base set, as that is the main objective behind this thread. You can make any of your own personal changes or tweaks to it - to make it your own. Just know that any one little setting or slider that you change may very well have major implications to gameplay. If you do make changes, I suggest only changing one thing at a time.

Note: I am going to be leaving all sliders and settings as default in the MM. I will update everything within CFM itself. The only exceptions are ballhawk and auto defensive flip, which will both be turned off in the MM. Reason being, that one particular menu overlaps from MM to CFM. If you turn any of those settings on or off in CFM, it carries over to MM and vice versa.

Guys, we're literally at day one the full release, and we have the ability to dive into keeper franchise. We haven't had the opportunity to do this in prior iterations of Madden. We might as well take advantage of the extra time and get rolling.

Hey Ren....

Just curious...are you suggesting that if using 30/30 FM, that you should use 70/70 DPI (similarly, 35/35 FM with 65/65 DPI)? Or, is something like 35/35 FM with 70 DPI viable?

Depending on your answer, you might want to modify your OP to clarify that a bit (I can see people asking).

Yes, thanks for pointing that out Josh.

30 / 30 mask should be paired with 70 / 70 DPI, and 35 / 35 mask should be paired with 65 / 65 DPI.
