Does the cpu do the coverage shading? And do they still hot route? I wish they would protect the ball the X factor addition was nice but it shouldn't have anything to do with fumbles so that was dumb on their part maybe they can address it in a patch or probably madden 21. I also hope they fix the qb rush sim stats before I start my franchise because it is really annoying looking at Lamar Jackson go 8 for 45 rushing in an entire season.

Played another game with a different team this time. I was the Ravens playing the Dolphins who are the lowest rated team in the game I think. Mark Ingram got injured in the 2nd quarter is out 6 weeks now had to use Dixon basically the whole game. RBs still seem to get injured way too often seem to be the only position getting hurt for me. Me and the cpu both threw a pick 6. Fitzpatrick completed a hail mary at end of the first half not for a TD but inflated his passing yards and then threw another hail mary last play of the game giving him 2ints. Only saw one fumble this game and it was the cpu I believe it was probably Earl Thomas with his x factor so that is still annoying. But another game where I blowout the cpu. The pattern seems to be that I get a pick 6 and dominate the time of possession, score 40+ points and the cpu passes for 95% of its plays and barely runs at all because they are so far behind the whole game they have to pass. I seem to be having long possessions getting a ton of first downs while the cpu has very short possessions receivers covered and missed throws while I barely miss throws and my receivers always open. The cpu run game seemed better although I barely got a chance to see since they only ran 7 times. But in all 3 games ive played I scored 39+ really should be 40+ bc I missed an extra point that game but I really dont understand why im scoring so much and dominating. The kick meter glitch happened again so thats still annoying praying they fix that next patch. But I am going to try a different team again maybe the Browns or Texans and hopefully I face a better team and the cpu actually runs the ball and is competitive. I dont have any problems with the sliders really im just dominating and cant figure out why or how to make it challenging. Maybe their coverage could be better or the cpu more accurate im not sure definitely going to have to play one more game with a different team but here are the stats with 15 min 13 accel it was about 143 plays im assuming thats because of all the 2 minute drills and incompletions by Fitz the whole game causing me to run 80 plays and inflate our total yardage. But I will report back again with stats with a new team. Just need to make the cpu more competitive or tone down my offensive production.

The CPU for sure uses coverage shading, and it seems to be adaptive/situational. I've definitely seen them start to shade receivers inside after I've completed some slants. Even better, when they do this and you notice it, you can hot route to a streak or out-breaking route, and depending on the player matchups, can take advantage and beat the CPU. This feature finally seems to be working properly, at least for me.

Just played another game with the Texans against the Saints didnt even finish the game played until about 4 min left in the 4th but quit because I got bored. Was about to score 40+ points yet again as I score every drive. Was a competitive game although I fumbled on a read option and they returned it for a TD if that doesnt happen then its pretty much a blowout. Cpu dropped 5 wide open passes so definitely think cpu catching needs to be raised and once again cpu qb was over 50 pass attempts. I didnt control the clock as bad this time as Saints moved the ball a lot better than the other teams I played there was only 1 punt the first half. I again had over 200+ rushing yards as a team. Didnt bother to post stats Im just having a really difficult time making this game challenging I am barely even trying or paying attention sometimes and Im still finding the endzone every drive. This is definitely the best gameplay madden has had in forever just wish I could make it challenging but not sure what to do.

Having a great time with these! Small tweaks such as int for both user and cpu to 25 just because of the amount of turnovers. Really enjoy that each game feels different. Playing on 10 min quarters and have had defensive based and a few high scoring games. Thanks again man!

I'm really not sure. You must just be better than what I am. I'm having a tough time winning at all. So you may just have to adjust some sliders. Like maybe raise some cpu sliders back towards default and lower some user side. Just look at the areas you want to change and move those

Sounds great. I'm not done adjusting stuff either. This weekend I should be able to get some more time in.
