Re: Playmakers Pro Sliders Human vs CPU

so I played Madden 20 for the first time yesterday. I used to use Playmakers Varsity sliders back on NCAA football so I gave these a shot. I played as Titans and lost to the Browns 27-13. The game played well, except I was sacked 9 times, 5.5 by Garrett.

The CPU was a little pass heavy to start but once they ran a few times and had success, they stuck with the run. Kareem Hunt had 24 carries for 151 yards against me.

My question is, what are people using for Special Teams sliders? Are you leaving everything at default?

Re: Playmakers Pro Sliders Human vs CPU

Hopefully we'll hear something soon.

I'd been using default (except for penalties) since IRL week 2 on pro and I'd had some fun games. Only one blowout and that was my own fault for trying to cheese when I shouldn't (i.e. hit stick in the open field....AI WR turned a simple screen one on one against my Nickel DB into a 80 yd TD...oops).
I'm guessing the latest patch changed a bit...all of the sudden, this week it's back to Madden 17 and 19 (I skipped 18) levels of frustration. I play full 15 quarters, try to balance my run and pass. My receivers would get smothered by zone coverage. The magic/super LBs were back snatching passes over the middle. The AI OL could hold blocks for 10+ seconds. Only reason the game stayed low scoring and any sort of fun was because of takeaways I could manually perform and I have a top tier RB to run with.

Side note: I tried going to All-Pro and it's just not for me. I can't make a third down stop to save my life.

Playmakers Post Patch Update as of 10/13/19

I spent the weekend tweaking with the latest patch and the good thing is I was still able to keep most of the sliders close to equal on Pro level. Seems the CPU doesn't really need that much of boost on this level unlike years past to stay relevant.

I still prefer the gameplay without patches but I understand EA will continue to change things a few times a year.
