the ratings are a lot more tiered now, too. players have way lower ratings. EA’s been creeping down the overall for a while now. this is probably the perfect place as far as lowness goes. very spread out. I’m loving it.

This definitely best default roster/playbook stuff ea’s ever presented to us.

Also, it’s nice seeing actual stories from your seasons with guys shining and surprising and disappointing.

when a patch hits, i may hold off on updating because this is looking too good. i’m just not saying any problems with the game. there’s some long yards sacks sometimes, but it doesn’t happen often enough to me for it to be a problem.

no game looks the same either. lots of variety, and the run/pass ratios have been nice for me as well and a wide variety of realistic boxscores with sim stat averages.

Agreed that it could be placebo, but when I don't do all these steps the Madden BS seems to creep in a little. It doesn't take too long, makes me feel better, and seems to make a difference.

Ok so I had been running my sliders all this time and although they play pretty good it always resulted in very low scoring games. I gave yours a run for 5 games and I like how the field feels open now. The only thing for me is I'm seeing 300-400 yard passing games every game now. Now I play your set with 15 minute 11 sec acc clock so I know my results will be different from yours but I am getting about 120 plays with this clock configuration. I just want your opinion and thoughts on what I could to make passing yards go down as well as completion percentage. Should I raise coverage or reaction time? Also I wanted your opinion on the reaction slider. My tests earlier resulted in lower reaction time=faster reactions whereas higher reaction time setting=slower reactions from the defenders. Am I off in this assessment?

Quit using accelerated clock. It’s a complete waste of time, and it does stuff like this that only holds you back. Use this set exactly as the op and most of the problems will go away. I’m just not seeing anything to complain about with this game right now with the current setup.

Haven’t really had to test pass def reaction time as the original setting worked the whole time.

100% agree. Accelerated clock is the devil when it comes to this game. I'm not bashing other CPU vs. CPU slider sets but I just don't understand how they can use it and claim that the game plays fine. I've seen nothing but problems with using it.

I'll vouch for this too. I've started using Tommy and Rick's sliders and as much as I'd love a 15 min quarter game, I've enjoyed the way the game plays far more without the accelerated clock and 9 min quarters.

There just seems to be less 'scripting' with the way the game is playing and each game has more variety, not just in the results but each play. It's far more fun to watch as a spectator in my opinion.

Re: Tommycoa’s Madden 20 Cpu/cpu Base Set

Does changing the trait of Pocket Passer QB's to Balanced stop the long dropback?

This is almost always leading to a sack and 20 yard loss. Was wondering if this adjustment has proven successful
