NFL ON FOX: MADDEN 20 ALL PRO CUSTOM SIMULATION SLIDERS
 I am a sports gamer on the PlayStation 4. I have been gaming over 30 years playing Atari Football 5 on 5, Tecmo Bowl, Madden, NFL Game-day, NFL Quarterback Club on Nintendo 64, NFL 2K on Dream-cast, baseball titles such as RBI Baseball on Sega, World Series Baseball, All Star Baseball, High Heat Baseball, MVP Baseball, 2K Baseball and now MLB THE SHOW. I also played a few NBA titles along the way, but quit playing when Hakeem Olajuwon retired. I also play WWE 2k and along the way with that I played other wrestling titles growing up. Not only did I play but I enjoyed doing rosters for Football, Baseball and Basketball. BEFORE EVEN WORRYING ABOUT SETTINGS/SLIDERS WHAT I PROVIDE NEXT IS VERY IMPORTANT!! I prefer ALL-PRO because to me ratings matter more and you will see better animations. I usually setup my profile to EXPERT and SIMULATION and game just didn't feel right until today when I did the following. It makes a huge difference like a few years ago how u setup your MADDEN PROFILE in the beginning. Meaning - beginner, intermediate, advanced and expert. ROOKIE - Beginner PRO - Intermediate ALL PRO - Advanced ALL MADDEN - Expert I wiped my MADDEN PROFILE clean and since I prefer ALL-PRO it needs to be set to ADVANCED! I was using EXPERT and its geared for ALL MADDEN. A complete difference in game play, coverage, animations and game speed and this is at everything on default ALL-PRO at the moment with no penalty, special teams or other slider adjustments made. Everything a week ago to me was unfix-able and needed to be patched, but I can tell you if u try this setup you will see a huge difference in game play, animations etc... Now onto the sliders. In order for these to work correctly you will need to enter them in exactly how I have them, If you decide to change one thing or several of them they might not work like they do for me and you may not get the same kind of results. The way sliders work at least on Madden is there grouped like a family and changing one can offset all the other settings. I have thoroughly tested these and they play a great game of football. I know they might not be for everyone because everyone has there own way of playing, calling plays etc. All I can suggest is to play at least 10 games without changing anything before giving up or asking for adjustments. The do work for HUM vs. CPU and you can also use them in HUM vs HUM!! You will need to enter settings in MAIN MENU then when you create your CFM go under the options in there and use the correct button to upload your settings into CFM. HOUSE RULES PLAYING THE CPU: 1. When playing against the CPU I do not go into any playbooks and pick plays. I stay in the "Suggested Play"s and it's okay to pick any of the plays there. 2. I usually stay on a DE or DT and I use a NO SWITCH rule staying on one player and let the play, play out. 3. Again, Important don't go into picking your money plays or plays you know might work over and over against the A.I. 4. I also run the ball once I am leading by 21 points (with these sliders this is not very often). 5. I punt on 4th down every time unless I am losing and it is in the 4th Quarter. 6. I do not run NO HUDDLES if I am winning period! If I am down before halftime or in the 4th quarter then I will use the NO HUDDLE to try and mount a comeback. 7. I also do not go for 2-point conversions unless I am losing and I wait to do these in the 4th quarter. I think playing on 15 minute quarters you have plenty of time and chances to try and come back. ================================================== SETTING UP YOUR MADDEN PROFILE: ================================================== * You half to make your MADDEN PROFILE exactly how I have it listed below to get the best results. * 1. Here is a other thread I was using and there is some posted games in there using this setup and sliders.
I am fully aware of the penalties being called a bit to much for Face mask, Roughing the passer. I tested several different things but it will alter game play so much that it doesn't feel the same or look the same with dropping them down. I prefer keeping things as realistic as possible so I only will play on 15 min quarters and I have great success on 15 sec runoff. Since I only play on 15 min quarters we need penalties to work to a certain degree or the scores, stats would be off the chart. EXAMPLE: I adjusted QB accuracy from 15 to 25 and games speeds up and the game doesn't feel as smooth at 25. It just does not feel the same so the numbers I use provide me what I was looking for. Yes you will see a huge difference in quarterbacks. Even the elite QB like Brady, Rodgers, Brees, Ryan etc will be off on there throws, but not like Gabbert, Keenum etc will be off target more. Back to about the penalties I have it the best I can get it until EA patches or adjust with a online tuning because when adjusting penalties it alters game play to much for my liking. * If I lower FACEMASK, ILLEGAL IN THE BACK and ROUGHING THE PASSER the game play just does look or feel the same and does not provide the end results when there on 55. Trust me I have tested so many games already at 55, then some at 54 all the way down to 50! Yes the game play and my setup does change when lowering these 3 penalties! I am leaving them at 55. Every penalty listed on the game gets called with my setup, yes it gets annoying at times, but I rather have great animations, coverage actually working and deal with the few extra penalties being called. You half to remember I come from an era when penalties would never work on past maddens at all and we were forced to play on 8 minute quarters. I will adjust at a later date and test them out then, but right now I prefer keeping them at 55. Feel free to lower but you wont get the same results. Also keep in mind that each teams varies how many total yards in penalties will be called. I kept a record of what penalties were getting called in the games I played and tested. Am I happy with the totals? Nope not really, But I tried to lower them and game play changes to much so again I am living with them at 55 for those 3. You only setup the Auto Subs in the main menu no need to touch any of that in CFM. The rotation of backups coming in is perfect right now you will even see your 3rd HB come in for a few carries.
