RFF's M20 32-man CFM USER v USER Sliders

Sure thing--here's the latest update! These represent a few small tweaks as we're about halfway through our latest user season. You'll see nothing major here, passing could afford to tick up slightly. We've been using this set about 4 game-weeks now, so I will post if there's any other tweaks to be made in the pass or run game.

The only big change here is punt accuracy. We were seeing some gamebreaking glitch-like off target punts, so just in case it was slider-related, I raised it back to 40.

Do you do any modifications on the main menu settings?

Also, do you have any users you know who have tuned these for vs. CPU play?

Great question, always surprised this was never asked.

Candidly it's mostly placebo/insurance.

The reason I still do it is a couple cycles ago, I could not for the LIFE of me figure out how to balance pass rush. Raising the User PBK slider did nothing to our passing #s... not sacks, not deep passing, not the eye test. It seemed like a useless slider. Pass blocking at default was simply way too strong & it was making deep throws way too easy. Tried all kinds of stuff, to no avail.
Stumbled across a post from years ago on OpSports here on the slider forum talking about how he was convinced the pass block user slider was simply a modifier of the CPU slider. It was the kind of post that normally I throw out as baseless. There weren't even any responses. But, I was desperate.

Dropping CPU PBK instantly made our pass rush higher. Not just eye test or animations, which is subject to confirmation bias--I mean instantly our passing metrics shifted. Ever since then, I sorta just mirror CPU sliders but a bit lower to account for CPU getting All Madden. Just in case someone does play CPU on it, maybe that'll help.

Long answer to a short question. Most of them I'm fairly certain makes no difference on user games. Maybe the CPU PBK slider doesn't anymore, either. But a couple years ago it definitely did, and I sorta just move them whenever I move a user slider ever since.

No. I don't believe for a second my main menu setting while my console is off and I'm eating dinner with the family is affecting two other league members playing an online CFM game.

Still cruising! Our file died and we spent nearly 2 weeks organizing to restart a new file, but we got it back on a Christmas miracle. We are early in our 5th season now.

The exporter has been wonky lately so I haven't been able to run stats. The game felt as perfect as I think it was going to get and stats were really strong in the end of our last season. Currently I worry running game feels a bit OP now that we've had a couple more years of dev + draft classes, but can't validate that.
