General Question / Auto Subs

Hi all,

Have been away for two versions now but recently picked up 20. Quick question for the slider community:

Have we now reached a point where autosubs actually work? If I use the autosub settings in, say, Armor & Swords' sliders, will my RB 2 and 3 actually get carries and so on?

Yes, auto subs definitely work for RB / WR, and somewhat for DL / LB in terms of producing subs. But, as always with any change away from default, there 'can' be unintended consequences. In my experience, when I jack the auto subs for DL, they play electro-charged and crazy, resulting in an increased number of sacks and TFL.

There can be a counter to this. If you set you DL auto subs to 99/98, I would be inclined to change the OL to 99/98 as well. That may or not be necessary to do, though.

I haven't spent any time testing auto subs in Madden 20. I briefly looked at them during the beta, but didn't like the effects on gameplay.
