So just to be clear, we do NOT want QBs with "Pocket" style?

Hi Josh, thanks for your feedback in Armos Thread regarding QB edits. Just sticking to your edits helped a bit. The "drop back" issue still occurs every now and then but in general still feasible.

Other than that: I love how the game is playing. Sure its still Madden. But I am still in love. Actually it is the first Madden that has the "deep ball"-excitement in the game. In the past is was under the impression the deep ball was only feasible in situations where the WR clearly beat the defender.. this year you can really expose 1 on 1 matchups and "throw it up for grabs" and have very varied outcomes..

The CPU does this as well. Could be a bit more though (would also help with the drop back issue). But man, I am enjoying it. Thats all I can ask for.

Players do rotate a little. However, you need to rely a bit on situational position players (like use of the RDTs and 3RBs) to get some good rotation. I also highly recommend making your own use of manual subs throughout the game as you see fit.

Adjusting fatigue or autosubs will cause a LOT of issues with the game in general, particularly on current gen. We explored fatigue modifications for quite some time throughout this thread...ultimately realized that it was causing more harm than good.

Just finished my first season and want to switch my scheme to spread, but not sure which playbook I should use. Any suggestions?

The generic spread playbook is pretty highly regarded here. It's got a surprisingly diverse run game and a wide array of passing concepts.

Other playbooks with significant amounts of gun formations and some option plays include KC, CHI, and PHI. IND has lots of gun as well, though perhaps fewer options.

Hope this helps.

In addition to what Rogue offered, the BAL book is also pretty diverse, but it’s clearly better for a running QB. Nonetheless, I had success using a more stationary QB just using more base runs and pass plays and bypassing those options.
