Game is ruined.

QB Drop back bug is awful. Unplayable.

I mean I am at a loss for words. They ruined a great game. Ruined it.

It is so bad right now....loss of words.

Edits are not fixing it. In all the patches they keep dropping they did something in the coverage the CPU AI QB’s can’t handle.

Justin Herbert whom moved around and took off before all this has taken 5....5 drop back bug sacks. Simply ruined this game.

Such a shame.

Coach mode brings this out even worse.

So I am scrapping that.

I gotta take a look at this deeper. But this is coding. Not sliders or edits. 99% sure of that.

Simply bad coding. They had it playing great.....whiners whine.

Turn off Ball Hawk



HUM/CPU Pass Reaction Defense down to 35

HUM/CPU Interceptions down to 25





I tested this and I can tell you it really calmed down the Atomic LB’s snaring everything and anything. Far more balanced now.



There is nothing we can do about the CPU QB Drop Back Bug.....thank you EA again for tuning what was the best CPU QB AI since 16.....congratulations for proving you simply could care less about your pioneer players who play solo offline franchise vs the CPU. We are dead to you. It is painfully obvious.



If you can tolerate the Drop back bug......this is a really fun game. But sometimes that bug will rear its ugly head.....nothing we can do about it folks.



So let’s not discuss it anymore. Because I have tried everything. It is FUBAR.



But I am confident I calmed down the ridiculous super LB’s who made their grand return thanks to EA band aiding coverage for the online whiners. Let’s just make LB’s super human again!!! WALA!!!!!



Anyway......back to Franchise. Year 4.



Dolphins are 2-1 after losing a heartbreaker vs the Chargers.



IT IS WHAT IT IS. That is all I will say about what they did to the game via all these patches.

that's to bad to hear. according to my origin account, i hadn't played madden since oct. 17th. i deleted the game yesterday, and reinstalled to get the latest patches.

only played about 1 6 min quarter, but was pleasantly surprised how the game actually felt.

didn't play enough to experience what you are describing. was going to start up a new CFM, but likely will pass.

what a shame.

This was the first game I saw the drop back bug that many times....typically I see it 1-2 times max......but then I saw a guy like Herbert do it 6 times in all......my god that sent me over the edge. Knowing how fantastic CPU QB AI was on release. For them to f*** it up so badly.....again is so disheartening.

I am hoping it was an outlier. But I replayed a few and it was what I thought. Every man was covered....so instead of scrambling or throwing it away....he just kept dropping back....and back...and back.

It was ugly.

Stayodd’s roster for PS4 eliminates the drop back glitch.

What qb were you playing against? I find certain ones to be really bad with the glitch. Stafford and Fitz come to mind.

Changing the traits still doesnt eliminate it completely. Its weird because about 2 patches ago it was gone.

The problem with edited rosters is....I am simply can’t keep editing every single season as the league acquires new players.
