    Madden 22 Slider Testing OP #1

    I start with my Madden 21 Slider settings and will make changes here!


    This is my new Forum Policy
    It's needed based on a few issues I've had in the past

    UPDATES (Extensive Testing)

    Day one 8/12/2021

    Most current set posted on 1/28/2022
    Moving Fumbles from 80 to 88
    90 was not enough and 88 feels right for that moment in the game if it happens.


    Fumbles from 100 to 80 from what I'm seeing now.
    EA corrected something so at 100 they stopped as they should.
    If I go anywhere different from here it will be up.
    Last game none, one game with a QB Fumble and another with only a Fumble Recovery.


    ADJUSTMENT: STILL WERE TOO MANY TURNOVERS
    FUMBLES 50 to 100
    INTERCEPTIONS 5 to 3
    Still seeing both at these settings


    TOO MANY TURNOVERS
    FUMBLES 30 to 50
    INTERCEPTIONS 10 to 5


    FUMBLES 14 to 30
    14 yielded too many in some games
    Fumbles went Left and came back


    FUMBLES on 14
    Minimal on 14 now after the last Patch for QB's.


    FUMBLES at 100
    The only way to Watch games now is with Fumbles on 100, until EA fixes the Fumble issue.
    QB's only Fumble, excessive QB Fumbling.

    (Fumbles went crazy and then disappeared)

    INTERCEPTIONS BACK at 10, not enough during the Week at 9 on 10/27

    Disclaimer
    I think everyone knows playing this way is a personal choice.
    I have been for many years and it's great immersive NFL experience
    CPU vs CPU 32 Team Owner control in Offline Franchise

    USER TEAM HELP (Season and Off-Season control)
    Auto or Manual as the Owner of each Team is a personal choice I Auto everything for all teams.


    You have to use 100% of my settings in the OP, not just the sliders for these to work.

    PLEASE DO NOT POST ANY STATS IN THE FORUM IF THEY ARE NOT 100% OF MY SLIDERS AND SETTINGS. (confuses people)

    This is an NFL Offline Franchise (slider and settings) simulator
    The Objective: Get NFL End of Season Stats and great animations in Franchise for CPU vs CPU games

    Simmed game stats are not optimized to match up with 15-minute Quarter watched games in Madden Your watched season team stats will ruin your Franchise season because the stats will not match up with the simmed games using 15 Minute Quarters, your team players will lead in many categories.

    This is why other slider developers are using 7-14 minute Quarters, they are trying to get the stats to match up for the games they do not want to watch with the Sim Engine. I played this way using 12-minute Quarters for years so I get it. I moved over to 15 Minute Quarters and Watching all the games for about 4 years now.

    15-minute Quarters is a different animal, the 3D Engine stats will not match up with the Sim Engine games. You need to use the 3D Engine 100% and watch all the games. Watching games can be time-consuming but I just let most play out, after testing and come back and look at the game stats. I have been playing Madden this way for many years. Your reward is getting good overall stats for all 32 Teams in Madden using the same Quarter length as the NFL. Watching the games are fun, you learn all the teams and become familiar with all the players like in Fantasy Football.

    A downloadable mod called Cheat Engine: Speed Hack, will Speed up Watched Games on the PC for Supersim watched games. It's a game-changer! No need to Normal or Fast Sim any games.

    My sliders are tested and recommended to have EVERY GAME for EVERY TEAM to be Watched or let played CPU vs CPU. All 32 teams are under Human control in Offline CFM, using 15 minute quarters adopted by the NFL.

    These sliders work for the way I play, Watching every game with 15-minute quarters using Slow Supersim End Game. NOT PLAYING, SIMMING or CALLING PLAYS.

    Your results may vary playing any other way, they may work but I've only tested as described.


    You are the GM making GM decisions for all 32 teams and watching the results. Not mixing simmed games with played games.

    The NFL DRAFT is where you make an impact and follow your draft picks if you choose to do so for all 32 Teams.

    I'm happy with the results with Madden 22 PC.

    If you decide to try them, use every setting I have posted or you will not get the same results.

    Restart your system (OFF and ON) if needed because of bad games and Watch at least 3 full games before commenting.

    GAME ISSUES CAUSED BY FILE CORRUPTION
    Typically a sign that a game has gone bad is listed below.
    Not happening that often in Madden 22
    Excessive Sacks more than 11
    Repetitive game issues with the same issue could require a PROFILE DELETION which I'm not seeing in Madden 22

    No major stat or slider issues with Madden 22 (Team/Player Sacks and TE Receptions are coded issues)

    Passing attempts vs run attempts are good
    Pass completion percentages are good
    Running game is good
    Penalties are good
    Scores are good
    Sacks can be high for some games not all
    The number of Plays is good, 120 is not the standard, I counted and compared it to the number in the NFL.
    Pass completion percentages are good: 50's-80's (Season averages around 60-65%)
    Passing Yards are good: 200's - 300's (400 are rare)
    Running game is good: 100+ yards will happen
    Yards per Carry are good: 4.5 and higher
    Receiving is good: Drops are good
    TLF's are good
    Interceptions are good: 0-4
    Pass Deflections are reasonable and varied
    Special Teams and Kicking Game are good, getting Touchbacks on Kickoffs and long Field Goals.
    Injuries are where they need to be as compared to the NFL

    CPU vs CPU with Slow Supersim: have control of all teams in Owner mode in a Franchise

    Changed slightly with Madden 22
    Setting up Owners and Controlling all 32 teams in a new Franchise
    In Franchise Hub just hit R3, pressing down the right stick which will bring up Madden Messenger
    Then hit RB to select Create Character
    Then Select Team
    Then select Style
    then Owner
    R3 to switch characters or add a new one (Do this for all 32 teams)
    R3 means pressing down the right stick

    Watching Games CPU vs CPU on Slow Supersim
    Using the Keyboard is difficult in Madden on the PC

    I have a X91 Wired Controller for XBox One/Windows 10 PC
    You can do it without a Controller to a degree on the PC with the Keyboard but I think you still need one to complete the entire process.

    Start a game
    Step 1 press the "B" button to exit out of the game
    Step 2 press the "B' button again
    Step 3 press the small button with the three horizontal lines on the controller to get out of play selection
    Step 4 Scroll down to Supersim and hit the "A" button
    Step 5 Scroll down to Jump Forward and press "X" and Slow
    Step 6 Press Jump Forward and then End of Game

    First impressions using my Madden 21 Slider set, Madden 22 plays like Madden 21

    Madden 19 Sucked (Year 1 for the PC)
    Madden 20 better but still too many issues
    Madden 21 is even better in regards to getting a good Slider set
    Madden 22 Slider development will not take that long.

    QB are throwing in the 60%'s

    Each year CPU vs CPU Sliders and games have gotten better.

    I will tweak where I see needed, still testing.

        Menu organization is well done!
        Tested one week of preseason games to see what's going on
        Sacks look the same as madden 21
        Penalties are light maxed out
        Pass completion percentages look okay thus far.

        Moving to Week 1 of the Regular Season and will continue testing.

            First game out the Box using my Madden 21 Sliders and Settings in the OP
            No real issues
            Each Team had 7 Punts
            Most passes seem to be up the middle

                    Madden 22 is now more like NBA2K's menu graphics, which is much better than 21.

                    The PC version from what I can see has all new goodies. CPU vs CPU gameplay is like Madden 21, which is not a bad thing. You should not have to keep doing major slider adjustments year after year, this year you don't.

                    Is it worth the upgrade from 21? I would say yes it is, based on the new Franchise features and the new layout of the game. Football Team Week, Staff, Supersim are incorporated in the menus, The Weekly Schedule and League Leaders and Scores are viewable in the main menu.

                    Overall EA did a good job with Madden 22 Franchise.

                    As of today, I see penalty issues that are not working, my only major complaint thus far.

                      I believe Staff Management can be automated if left alone but there is no setting for it.

                        CPU vs CPU you can analyze the matchups from an Offensive and Defensive viewpoint for both teams before you watch the games which are pretty cool.

                          Penalities can happen but are on the very low side, with most being on the offensive side of the ball.

                          This is the most I've seen for one team.

                          Similar issues with Madden 21 last year, Penalities need to be fixed.
