I'm currently testing that as we speak. Also looking into adjusting sliders because there is way too much offense.

Early test results suggest that setting auto subs in main menu and then setting them for your team in franchise is helping with sacks. But I still have too small a sample size to say for sure.

I suggest trying that and seeing how it works for you.

Re: McGibblets' CPU vs CPU (GM Mode) NG Madden 22 Sliders

I've updated the OP. I set the sliders back to the set I was testing prior to the original OP. They seemed to give more realistic Offensive output.

The set in the original OP was something different that I wanted to try that I thought would work well with the auto subs. It obviously didn't. So I reverted back to my prior version and made some slight tweaks to it. The couple of games I tested tonight with the current changes were promising. Obviously I haven't had a chance to fully test them though. Appreciate any and all feedback.

The main goal of these settings/sliders is to be able to watch (GM Mode) your team’s games without having to watch all of the other games. Traditionally, at least from my experience, when I play out a full season, my team’s stats always end up being badly skewed when compared to the cpu teams whose games are all being simulated. In an attempt to address this, I gathered data from a couple of simulated seasons and tracked stats such as:
Completion Percentage
Sack Ratio
Pass Yards/Attempt
Rush Yards/Attempt
Fumble Ratio
Interception Ratio
Broken Tackle Ratio

Once I had all my data gathered, I started working on a slider set that would give results as close as possible to the simulated data set. In theory, if my played games data is similar to the simulated games data, then the skew at the end of the season should be minimal.

The first thing I attempted to solve was the excessive sacks. According to the simulated data, I was aiming for one sack for every 17 dropbacks. I tried several slider sets from OS, all of which the sacks I was seeing were much higher than that. Long story made short, while doing my testing I found that adjusting auto-subs slightly made a huge impact in the number of sacks I was seeing. Once I was able to get the sacks pretty close to where I wanted them, everything else kind of fell into place. A little tinkering here and there and I was able to come up with the slider set in this post.

Much like cdcool’s sliders, you should use 100% of my settings in the OP, not just the sliders for these to work. I won’t go as far as to say these settings/sliders WON’T work, but if you don’t configure them exactly as I describe, I can’t guarantee you will see similar results as me.

The Objective: Get NFL End of Season Stats for played games and to minimize the skewed stats when comparing played game stats to simulated game stats.

At this time, these settings require adjusting auto-subs for BOTH TEAMS in Watched CPU vs CPU games.

These sliders work for the way I play, WATCHING every game using Slow Super Sim End Game. NOT PLAYING, SIMMING or CALLING PLAYS.

The results may vary playing any other way. They may work but I have not tested. I cannot guarantee anything.

You must set your team’s auto-subs AND the auto-subs for your opponent each week. To do this, you must create a new owner character for your opponent’s team and set their auto-subs. Then after your game, retire your opponent’s owner character. The alternative to this is to use cdcool’s 32 team franchise method and set auto-subs for every team.

You can also use these in online single team franchises, but you may see slightly higher sacks. I'm still testing this, but early results are promising. I just don't have enough data to guarantee how well it will work.

RB Attempts/Fumble – The RB Attempts to Fumbles ratio from top 32 RBs in simulated data. Goal – 218.7

Pass Attempts/Interception – The passing attempts to interception ratio from top 32 QBs in simulated data. Goal – 45.1

XP Sliders - TBD

For the most part, I believe the stats will average out and fall in line with simulated stats over the course of a full season. Or at least that’s the hope anyway. Feel free to test them out and leave any feedback in the comments.

Please keep it nice and respectful. I don’t want to report people. Let’s all have fun and play some Madden.

I did use your thread as a template. And also used my experiences from testing yours and playmakers sliders to form my own set. Props to you guys and thanks for your hard work. Not trying to take away anything from you guys.
