Probably should raise it since you know that even with everything perfect it's not close to 60.
We can't easily test most things but fg and punts we can.
Were not always going to nail it perfect but we know the kickers in the NFL can hit 55+ fg or punt 50+ yards though a lot of times it's the accuracy of those long kicks that causes the miss.

For USER/CPU, I recommend the following:

FG POWER 60-65
FG ACC 42-48

I use 65 power and 45 accuracy personally.

The reason: CPU will attempt long FGs constantly 55-58 yarders and I have seen them miss 30 some yard field goals SHORT with slight wind with it at 50.

At 65, USER can make 60+ field goals distance with ease, so you need to be realistic and determine if your K should be attempting it. They don’t have separate sliders for kicking for some reason so you have to decide if you want that negative or the negative of CPU constantly missing field goals and giving you excellent field position guaranteed. I’d rather them make longer field goals and put up 3 vs giving me ball at the almost 50 yard line multiple times.

How about punt power? Punters can usually kick 60 yard punts to flip the field.

I am going to up mine as well. 35 yard punts are not good.

I should’ve included punts in my above post, but I’m using 60-65 punt power too. Gives better punts to make it a longer field and also the longer kicks give actual punt returns. Another case of taking a little bit on unrealism for the greater benefits.

The average punt distance is around 46 yards so for me his setting of 53 seems spot on to me.

FG power needs to be at least on default 50.. I just wish more could be shanked easily as I tend to hit all of mine. Maybe his setting is to replicate missed FG's to keep the % in line with the NFL?
