Re: Madden 22 CPU vs CPU No fuss All Madden

I have to ask what do ints look like at 50. I know that was out of control at default for me

Re: Madden 22 CPU vs CPU No fuss All Madden

Through 6 games my qb is 13 tds and 7 ints. My D leads the league with 11 ints, the next closest is 9.

Sacks are becoming a bit of an issue. But only for my D as my qb has only been sacked 16 times in 6 games. But my D leads the league with 35 sacks next closest is 22.

So again hard to say if my team is just reaching an OP state or something has to be tweaked.

I have noticed as I’ve said before, the majority of sacks aren’t because a D player beats his man quickly or through blitzes. They are coverage sacks where the qb leaves the pocket backwards at a horrible 45 degree angle snd then can’t turn snd make a throw.

Going to finish the year at default and see where everything lands.

, I’m not opposed to straying from default but I’d like to only touch threshold and fatigue if possible. I am not smart enough to go down the slider rabbit hole.

Re: Madden 22 CPU vs CPU No fuss All Madden

Well, as everyone pretty much called it. Sacks and ints are starting to balloon out of control.

Any individual game can be awesome but all the games adding up over the course of a full season are too much to take.going to try lowering threshold to give wr a little space hoping qbs will get rid of the ball faster. The only problem is, I already think my qbs completion percentage is on the verge of being too high….and down the rabbit hole we go

on madden 21 HC0023 did some testing with default and he really like pro default with one twist. he chose competitive mode instead of simulation. said he still saw penalties and such. i saw his boxscores. they were legit across the board.

also go with 12 minutes with 20 second runoff. me and him have tested just about every possible clock combo there is and this one brings the best stats/pace/flow/plays per game.

On 21 old gen, this trick really helped with sacks, completion percentages, and qbs getting the ball to wrs more.

I honestly think comp mode is more sim than sim mode.

I should also say, HC was testing with live playbooks turned off. Seems like comp is the way to go especially if you can’t use the 2 controller trick for live books.

Again, this may have changed with 22. We also tested this recent and madden 21 had no new patches.

If it doesn’t work now, may be something to try when new patches drop.
