I honestly think comp mode is more sim than sim mode.

I should also say, HC was testing with live playbooks turned off. Seems like comp is the way to go especially if you can’t use the 2 controller trick for live books.

Again, this may have changed with 22. We also tested this recent and madden 21 had no new patches.

If it doesn’t work now, may be something to try when new patches drop.
There is no Injuries on "Comp" though, correct?

HC0023 was seeing injuries at default. I see injuries too with comp but not default.

Do you know if he setup the initial M21 profile with Intermediate (Pro)/Competitive?

Yeah. During the intro he chose intermediate and competitive.

Had something odd happen in my first competitive game…my rb had 24 carries in the first half . He is my best player so maybe competitive playcalling gets the ball to the best players more often?

it does seem like playcalling gets the ball to stud players more.

Madden 22 CPU vs CPU No fuss All Madden

Did a bunch of testing last night and this morning. A couple things. Seeing lots of good things from AM 40s across the board everything else at default.

One thing I did notice was that NONE of the drafted QBs I looked at had throw ball away ON! They had a great mixture of traits except for that one. Could be just a weird coincidence in my league. So before my games I checked opposing QB awareness, if it was over 80 I turned it ON.

Also they all had Generic 1 as their throw style so I changed those up as well to add some variety to the animation.

Small sample size so far but I think I’m ready to roll a season with Josh’s all 40s, injury at 25 and AM, simulation. (Competitive didn’t do it for me, honestly can’t even put my finger on why. Just seemed off.)

Interested to see how this goes for u. When i was testing all madden like u suggested i was thinking trying everything on 45 first then 40 depending on how it went. I think decreasing the pass blocking will be a problem
