Zone run, power run, speed run?
I want to build a team based on the run, but not sure which direction to go. Any opinions on what is the most successful? I like to run a lot of 2 TE singleback, but seem to have more luck running out of the I form. Are formations with a lead blocker considered power runs?
Quick hitting runs like the 01 trap play seem to be the most effective for me. Are there any other speed style runs other than this? Does the HB sprint hit the hole quicker? Are these considered the speed running game?
For a zone run offense is there a specific formation or set of plays to be calling? There only seem to be zone runs out of the singleback and it is only 1 play.
Appreciate any input.
