Auction prices are always this ridiculous?

I cannot understand how a few points difference between 2 players can warrant a jump in price from say, $4000 to $40,000 coins...

Could someone clear this up for me? I am relatively new to MUT.

It's just the popularity of certain players I'm afraid. Want some real sticker shock? Go look up fullbacks.

If a player is needed for a collection, that also brings the value up. Sometimes you can find silver and bronzes worth more than golds. It all depends.

It depends on the player but a big part is sets. If for example a low rated gold player is rare and people need that player to complete a set for a Captain for example, the price goes way up

Of course supply and demand, but it also appears people are buying up certain items, like uniforms and maintaining an inflated market to farm coins.

I love the economy strategy in this game, personally

Yeah, it's crazy how expensive fullbacks are. But it's supply and demand. And at least the prices are consistently ridiculous for the same players. lol

I'll be rolling in the coins if I can get a fullback in a pack opening.
