Hello, my name is tshokunbi and I'm an MUT whale. It's been 9 months since my last point purchase although I did backslide and preorder the super deluxe edition.

EA hooked me by giving me three free packs a week 2 years ago. Ripping packs became my addiction and pulling elites gets me high. I'm ashamed to admit it, but I spent thousands (plural) on points in MUT 15. It almost led to a divorce when my wife saw my credit card statement filled with $100 PSN transactions. Fridays were my favorite. I couldn't wait to try and pull the 24hr football outsiders card. I used to avoid grinding, saying I didn't have enough time as a father and full time student with a full time job.

Fortunately, through counseling, my wife found the whales anonymous group and life has gotten better. I have learned to take MUT one solo at a time. When I rip a free pack and get nada, sometimes I am tempted to buy points, but then I look at the 0 next to the green box and I stop myself.

Thank you Operation Sports, for showing me grinding and using the auction house is just as effective, if not more effective then being harpooned by EA. The addiction to the mode is still there, but the pain in my wallet is gone.
