Online Franchise Cloud Issues

Is anyone else having issues with online franchise? I keep getting kicked from the server for variety of reasons including “due to inactivity” even though I’m actively playing.

The last time this happened was during the draft. I logged back in and finished the draft, got through the preseason (simmed), set my scouts, played my first game… then it kicked me out again but when I loaded it back up it took me all the way back to the draft. So infuriating.

This has been happening since the last patch. Is anyone else having cloud issues with online franchise?

Yup, same thing happened to me. Not touching franchise until this gets fixed.

This game is on the shelves till there is a fix for franchiseif there even gonne be one

same. very annoying. last night, I was flipping through Madden and the SNF game. did it twice and the second time, it wiped out the 5 minutes of work I did on my franchise. not backbreaking....but very annoying!! never had that issue before

Yeah, it’s insanely annoying. I retire my coach and switch from all 32 teams to keep injuries and depth charts etc correct for every team and the amount of work I’ve had to redo cuz of this is infuriating.

Yup had this happen over the weekend . Got to the draft in my giants franchise . Finished the draft and got to week 1 saved the game and went back to the file had to start from Rd 3 of the draft . Deleted the file and now using another team. Hoping that there is a fix by the time I get to the off season.

Glad I’m not the only one. This is a huge issue and hope it’s fixed soon. You’d think they could push something through since it’s for online. I’ve been playing online franchise since it was an option and never had these issues before

Has anyone tried offline franchise and checked if the issues are there as well? Cause I'd gladly start an offline franchise if the issues aren't there.

Just simmed a season to start an off season rebuild and it won't let me sign a single free agent lol, like can't even offer a contract. Can't make this stuff up smh.

This morning - Offline Franchise - WK 7 - I'm Washington, I'm playing G.B. - I barely win the game. At the "finish game" selection screen, I click it, the screen goes black, I'm kicked out of the game and forced to restart.

Thankfully, the franchise file actually reloads this time, but I have to replay that game again. It saved my players xp accomplishments because it is tasking me to upgrade whomever, but no stats were saved, thankfully, per the game I have to redo.

Something I have picked up on - when you click to finish a game, if the little NFL logo in the bottom left corner of the screen doesn't do that digital flicker animation (if it just stays there unmoving), the system is about to reboot you. You can foreshadow your rage and disappointment, now! Haha.

Its funny. I had awful issues with this right after launch, so i decided to try FoF until it got fixed. Then I saw there's a gamebreaking bug after season one. So then i tried offline franchise, until i found out there's a gamebreaking bug in season 10. So then I tried MUT (i know, i know lol) and i was having some fun until they withheld a lot of the rewards i earned through the comp pass. As a no money player in mut it's kind of important to receive the rewards you earn cuz you're at a major disadvantage from the start.



So I went back to franchise when the patch got released last week and... sure enough they didn't patch cloud franchise, or offline franchise, or FoF, or MUT. The whole game is broken and the only communication from any devs are the MUT ones who have been promising that they fixed the comp pass bugs for weeks but it's still not fixed. This launch has been a nightmare.

anyone else been having a problem with connecting to the servers after waking from sleep? 90% of the time i just have to completely restart the game otherwise it just won't connect for me.

Wow, it's going crazy tonight. I can't even sign a FA to replace an injury without it kicking me out. Really hope this is something they're looking at/aware of.

Same thing has been happening to me not sure what is going on but this game is seriously broken this company can't do anything right it's always something smdh

Been having the same problem with the draft as others have reported. I took it a step further and tried to sim season one and then draft and that worked. Then played through the second season and drafted then tried playing preseason game one and got booted. Then loaded back up and it was the draft again. Because I am an idiot, I went ahead and did the draft again thinking the problem wouldn't happen again. I was only part right, it booted me in preseason week one again only this time I was dropped into round two of the draft. At that point I just quit.

With so many games coming out, if ea can't get these things fixed this will probably be the end for me with madden. That probably sounds dramatic but this was already likely to be my last madden with college football next year. I just thought I would be playing this game much longer than this.
