Play Now Live Update Frozen on Week 1?

I’d love to be able to jump into a franchise in week 4 rn with real life stats, injuries, etc. Rn the week 1 option doesn’t have all real life injuries and Watson is still qb1 and Odell is fully healthy, and of course the powers that be at EA won’t dare give us the options to manually injure guys like you can in MLB The Show. Pathetic

I don’t understand why. I honestly think these guys just suck at their jobs. They make millions off gamers ever year and sell this as a feature for franchise players. They went on and on about how they would update franchise mode and this was one of their coolest and most attractive parts. To be able to jump in any week and play with real time stats and rosters.

I’m very frustrated by this. I think it’s weak sauce.

I have given them the benefit of the doubt recently but nothing in this game works. MUT gets new content every week and it never works this year. I think they either had a ton of devs get fired or they may just not have the skill to program a AAA game.

It’s just a major ball drop. The play now feature say “play real nfl matchups each week” but is obviously broken as it’s not advancing with the season. One of my favorite features to play my birds game before they do

PLEASE let this get updated this week. I’m afraid it won’t be until the title update which is probably next week tho. I used to love when it’d update on Thursday every week and I’d get the Thursday game in and sometimes a couple more. Maybe I’d play that franchise into the off-season maybe I’d just do another one the next week. Also it’s crazy useful for stats because EA’s stats engine is just bad. Can’t forget for the injuries too because they still haven’t figured out how to give us manual injuries or fix the IR.

Xbox series X can confirm the live starts don’t work properly , and there’s probably a list of 100 things that aren’t right,

A list of people who get cut or signed is crazy..

The panthers typically sign cam newton or the Texans,

Dontrell Hilliard gets cut
Alec pierce gets cut
Pacheco gets cut

Washington cuts running backs

The browns cut essential players. Then other teams sign them as (upgrades to their low end depth)

It’s literally mind blowing this is from the “week one start which is oddly labeled week 5 and was labeled such since week 3

Technically week 1 “is the 5th week of the franchise” but it’s very sloppy
