Madden 21 servers shut off?

Sorry for the boot question. I own Madden 21. Haven’t played it since I got it a year ago. Logged on and set everything up, intended on downloading this years rosters the community files option. Been trying for 12 hours now and I keep getting a message that says “the connection to the server has been lost…..”. Nothing wrong with my internet, the EA help site says the server is online. What gives? Have the servers been disabled as to force people into buying 22? Anyone have a solution for this? I’ve uninstalled and re installed, powered off my router and modem (no issues with any other game) and I’ve powered down the PS5. Anybody have a solution?

Same issue on M22. Severs had been messed up for awhile now. I have been trying for several days to get onto M22 downloads. I have tried all of the "usual" tricks, but no luck.

Yeah, last couple of days you didn't even get the “the connection to the server has been lost…..” message.

Oh wow. Ok. So it’s not an isolated issue for me. Guess I’ll try again later in the week. Thanks for the replies.

Found the fix. At least it worked for me. All it took was rebooting my ps5.

Guess I should have tried this sooner but had no other issues with connecting. Not sure why it was just to EA?
